Ground-type Pokémon are one of the most uncommon types in the franchise because there aren't a lot of Ground-type Pokémon and because they🧸 commonly live underground, away from pryiཧng eyes, and as such, many trainers never see them.

There are some Ground-type Pokémon that will be iconic to the franchise forever, such as the Hoenn starter Swampert; however, there are also creatures that were easily forgettable and are rarely ever seen in the Pokémon world. Some of these Pokémon, including Wooper and Claydol, were easily and quickly forgotten by the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon fan🦂 base, and a lot of fans don't even know their names.

10 Wooper

Wooper was the first dual Water/Ground-type to be present in the Pokémon franchise, and this type combination wenꦜt on to serve many different creatures moving 🐓forward.

Wooper is adorable, but unfortunately, it isn't easily rememberable compared to other Johto Pokémon, including Donphan and Sudowoodo. This led many 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Generation 2 fans to complet🃏ely forget about Wooper and cast it away to the creatures that they never think about.

9 Nincada

Nincada is a Pokémon with a unique design, especially for a dual Bug-type. Many fans forget that Nincada is even classified as a Ground-type because it generally doesn't have anything in its design that would lo๊ok like a🍃 traditional Ground-type Pokémon.

The main reason that Nincada is classified as a Ground-type is that it can burrow under the ground and use Ground-type attacks to its ad𓂃vantage. Unfortunately, Nincada is easily forgettable, and it's overshadowed by other Pokémon from the Hoe𓃲nn region.

8 Gligar

Gligar was first introduced in Generation 2, and it even got a new evolution in Generation 4 in the form of Gliscor. It is easy to fo🅠rget that this adorable sky creature even exists since it is not often present an official artwo꧙rk of the franchise.

Gligar doesn't look like it would🎃 be a Ground-type based on its general appearance and the fact that it is constantly in the sky and rarely ever flies down to the dirt. Gligar has strong arms that it can use for digging, which is what it commonly uses to its advantage during Pokémon battles.

7 Claydol

Claydol is exactly what it sounds like, a clay doll. This Pokémon can be encountered in desert terrains, and it is commonly known to burrow under th🌞e ground and attack it, enemies, with Ground-type atta💜cks.

Claydol quickly became a Pokémon that was forgotten from Generation 3, mostly because it didn't offer anything special in terms of stats, and its design is somewhat boring. Although a lot of fans do like Claydol, the majority of Pokémon fans seem to forget it exists entirely.

6 Whiscash

Whiscash is another dual Water/Ground-type Pokémon, and it is one of the strongest🍸 creatures in Generation 3, although a lot of fans seem to forget that this is the case. Some fans question why Whiscash is even a Ground-type since it spends the majority of it🌊s life underwater.

Whiscash also has an interesting design, and it us🐬ually shows a smile ✃brightly on its face, which helped a few fans to memorize its appearance. Even with the smile, though, Whiscash's design isn't as interesting as Pokémon such a Swampert, and it was quickly forgotten to time.

5 Gastrodon

Gastrodon is a sea slug that can be found in the Sinnoh region. Although thi﷽s Pokémon is quite powerful and does have a unique design, it isn't anything special compared to the large number of Sinnoh Pokémon that were introduced in Generation 4.

Gastrodon can attack with both Water-type and Ground-type attacks, similar to Whiscash and Wooper. This creature is present in most Pokémon gamജes; however, even with that, most fans🌟 never want to capture it.

4 Galaꦿrian Yamask

Galarian Yamask is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Generation 8 Pokémon, and although it is still new in the franchise,ꩵ it was forgotten quite swiftly because most fans didn't care about it when compared with other new Galarian forms, including Corsola and Ponyta.

Galarian Yamask seems to be classified as a Ground-type because it carries a rune of some sort under its body and because it usually lives in desert cl꧅imates. Notably, Galarian Yamask also doesn't look much different from its Unova form.

3 Hippowdon

Hippowdon was the first hippo-themed Pokémon in the fra🐟nchise, and although a lot of fans were awaiting a creature with this theme, it, unfortunately, didn't live up to a lot of players expectations. Hippowdon is ꦍa strong creature; however and its moveset is very large, allowing it to attack from many different fronts.

Similar to💯 Gastrodon, Hippowdon didn't do💖 anything special when compared to all the other Sinnoh Pokémon in the region, and hopefully, it will get a new form or evolution in the future that will bring it back to relevance.

2 Golurk

Golurk is one of the best creatures to come from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Generation 5 because it has a unique dual Ground/Ghost-type, and it is absolutely massive in size, which allows it to crush enemies and defeat opponen☂ts swiftly during battles.

Golurk's large body is complemented with its spiritual side because of its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ghost-type. Many fans forget that Golurk exists simply because there were so many new creatures introduced in the Unova region and because it is very uncommon in the Pokémon franchise.

1 Camerupt

Camerupt is an interesting creature in terms of appearance because it has a volcano on its back. Even though Camerupt is one of the most unique Ground-type Pokémon in the franchise, it isn't very🌊 common during Pokémon battles, and as such, it has been mostly forgotten by the fan baಌse.

Camerupt can employ both Fire-type and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ground-type attacks to defeat enemies, including Earthquake and Flamethrower. Most fans that come into contact with a Camerupt for the first time will want to capture it, but if they don't, then they will end up quickly 🅘forgetting it because its design is so different and unusual compared to most Pokémon.
