The whole point of a survival game like Grounded is to, well, survive. One of the best ways to ensure your survival, especially when going up against insects and spiders more than twice your size, is to have a powerful weapon to defend yourself with. Sure, you can get by for a time whacking away at things with you basic axe or club, b💦ut eventually, you're going to need to step up your damageꦰ as enemies get tougher and more dangerous. That's where the Mint Mallet comes in, the indisputably best weapon currently in the game. Let's go over what you need to do to get your hands on this top tier weapon.
Getting ꦇyour hands on this end game weapon isn't going to be easy, and will require a lot of other late-game tools, plus going up against the toughest enemies the yard has to offer. We don't recommend going for the Mint Mallet at least until you've completed the main quest and gotten some decent gear first.
Mint Mallet Recipe And Ingredients
When you first began your adventures in Grounded you may have noticed the IceCaps breath mints close to where you first spawned. These are what you'll need to mine in order to unlock t⛦he Mint Mallet as an item you can craft. But, if you did see these early on, you also probably noticed you weren't able to harvest any with your low-level t๊ools. In order to actually mine these mints, you'll need an Insect Hammer, the level two version of the game's hammers.
Getting an Insect Hammer is itself a bit of a process, for which you can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:reference our guide, but in short, you will need to gather some difficult materials. The recipe requires four Stinkbug parts, four Berry Leaꦿther, and one Bombardier Be😼etle Boiling Gland. Stinkbugs are found to the West of the map just above the rake, Bombardier Beetles are more on the Southside of the rake near a large rock, and Berries can be collected from the hedge near the middle of the map to the South.
These are not easy ingredients to get, so you should at least have some Acorn Armor and high-level weapons before attempting to collect them. O🍷nce you manage to get everything you need, take them all to a workbench to craft yourself an Insect Hammer
With your brand new hammer, go back to the middle of the map where you first start the game and hit the lid of the Ice Cap container to pop it open. Crack into the mints with your hammer to 💧collect the mint chunks, which should also unlock the recipe for the Mint Mallet. If not, simply analyze one of the mint chunks to reveal it.
Next up you'll need eight Flower Petals. These are very easy to collect sin💛ce they're just laying around on the ground below the flowers on the Northeast edge of the map.
The last ingredient is nine Spider Silk, which can be slightly more difficult to come across. One option is to hunt down some Orb Weaver Spiders that hang our by the flower beds, though they are a tough fight. Just keep an eye out for when they back up to do their lunꦺging attack to block, aim for their head, and hit them with everything you've got. Play careful and slow and you'll make it out victorious.
Crafting The Mint Mallet
You finally have everything you need, ♌so head back to a workbench and whip up your fresh new mallet. As you can see from the stats, it is an absolute powerhouse with maximum stun and nearly maxed out damage with decent speed. The only main downside is that🤪 it is a two-handed weapon, making it harder to use when exploring at night and light becomes an issue. Otherwise, this mallet will make you feel like a giant.
