The developers for Grounded introduced an update named Into the Woods, 🦄which features new areas for the players to explore. The update also introduced a new set of goals to achieve before you can ▨get to the endgame.
With this update, you will also come across Termites. These are the new creatures added to the game with the Termite Dungeon, which you need to explore and complete to get closer to the endgame. However, the dungeon and Termites' location are still unknown to many players, which we will reveal in this guide.
What Are Termites?
Termites are creatures in Grounded that have the same physical appearance as that of an Ant but are very different in nature towards players. Unlike Ants, the Termites will attack the players on sight with their teeth and shoot balls of acid from their mouths. The acid does burning damage and leaves a splatter of it on the ground for a few seconds.
These creatures will always stay close to their nest and de൲fend it instead of going out to gather food.
Where To Find Termites?
Termites are commonly found in Termite Dungeon, located on the northwest side of the backyard. The area wil🍎l have a massive pile of wood arౠound it, with many entrances leading to the dungeon.
You will have to climb on the pieces of wood to get to the entrances. The dungeon will be protected by Termite Soldiers that will stop you from progressing into the nest, where you will find the Termite King.
The Termite Soldiers are tanky creatures and will always attack in a group. You will need a Tier 3 weapon and armor to keep up against them. Since they also spit balls of acid, it is better to come equipped with a shield to block their attacks.
The main weakness of Termites is Salt and Stabbing damage-type weapons like Mosquito Needle, Stinger Spear, and Arrows.
You will get the following loot from a Termite after defeating it:
- Acid Gland
- Termite Parts
- Tough Gunk
Other than the Termite Dungeon, you will find Termite Soldiers in Undershed, along with Black Ox Beetles creatures.
