168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Grand Theft Auto 6 fans have been tearing apart 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the game's first trailer ever since it dropped earlier this week, already deducing that the trailer itself is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:made up of several real-life events from Florida news coverage, that Lucia is wearing an ankle bracelet 1✤68澳洲幸运5开奖网ꦐ:which could limit early game map exploration, and that the woman in the bikini in the middle of the trailer 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:might actually be main 💃character Lucia in some kind of disguise.
With all that said, you probably won't be too surprised that some interesting fan theories are being thrown around too, with one in particular gaining a fair amount of traction due to how probable it seems. First posted to the GTA subreddit by user Hurdenn, a lot of fans believe that the trailer is actually showing us the events of the game's opening in reverse.
It's not too ridiculous of a theory if you watch the trailer back, as it ends with both Lucia and Jason seemingly getting ready for some kind of event, asking the two to trust each other. There are several scenes that take place before that, showing the two robbing a convenience store, then making a getaway in a vehicle. The two are then shown heading in the opposite direction of some speeding police in the scene before that, Lucia with a wad of cash in her hand.
I was thinking this. Maybe that’s the prologue mission. Then you get out of prisꦜon with the ankle tag which limits you to a certain area of the map until you progress and track down Jason.
The trailer then begins with Lucia in jail, though we don't actually know the whereabouts of Jason at the time. It's a pretty sound theory, and the events involving the getaway and the convenience store robbery are clearly linked as the two are wearing the same clothes, but there's a big gap of unexplained time between the robbery and Lucia in prison. It's possible the game will begin with Lucia getting out of jail and she then goes on to rob a store with Jason, though the existence of her ankle bracelet muddies things a bit.
We can assume that the authorities are tracking Lucia's movements with the ankle bracelet, which would make robbing a convenience store almost impossible without getting swiftly dumped back in prison afterward. It's also possible that Lucia could work with Jason to get it removed somehow, and it's almost like the trailer doesn't give us enough details to make a firm judgment on the timeline of events. Curse you Rockstar and your well-thought-out trailers!
We'll simply have to wait until the game releases, or for another trailer, to see if this theory is correct, though when we'll actually hear from Rockstar again is anyone's best guess. GTA 6 is launching in 2025, most likely during the holiday season, so at least we have a tentative release window to look forward to for now.
