Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launched last week, and many of you will have been busy playing it over the weekend. Well, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:unless 🍬you bought the collection on PC. Rockstar 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:accide🐬ntally left files on that version of the game that should have been removed. That realization resulted in the Rockstar Launcher going down for maintenance on Thurs𒁃day, and the rem🐽astered trilogy being removed from sale.
PC GTA players aren't the only ones having issues with The Trilogy. Those who have picked up a copy on Nintendo Switch also aren't that impressed. While the games are working on the Switch, comparison videos highlight that they look far less impressive on the console than on other platforms. In fact, some players think a fan-made port of Vice City on PS Vita looks better than the Switch remaster of the game.
You can check out a video comparing the PS Vita mode to the remastered version of Vice City on Switch below. While both are marked improvements on the 19-year-old Vice City, most of the people replying to the video via the comments appear to prefer the Vita version. There's plenty of praise for the Vita's character models when compared to Switch, and that the Vita version better captures the art style of the original game.
The Trilogy was never going to look as good on Switch, of course. Many people might have been quite surprised to find out the remastered games were even coming to the console. However, the general consensus that a fan-made version of Vice City looks better on a much older handheld console is pretty damning. Worst of all for Rockstar, it's probably the least of its problems when it comes to The Trilogy right now too.
The issues with the PC version of The Definitive Edition appear to be fixed as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:it h✤as since returned to the Rockstar Launcher. There are other problems for Rockstar to overcome, though. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The heavy rain in the games making the collection almost unplayable, for example. Not a great start to life for The Triloไgy, and it seems𝄹 rather appropriate that it launched almost a year on from Cyberpunk 2077 which received a similar level of disdain.
