It only feels like yesterday we were all clinging onto rumors Rockstar was working on some classic GTA remasters, yet here were are. Launch day for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Many of you will have taken the remastered versions of GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas for a spin by the time you read this🔜, discovering what has remained the samᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe and what elements of the games have been improved upon.
There will also be a few things missing from the original games, including some of thꦐe cheats. While the backdrop, the stories, and the missions in all three games are great, one of the best parts oღf the early 2000s era of GTA games was the cheats. While they still work, some of them have not made it to the remasters.
“We actually had to remove a couple for technical reasons, certain things that didn’t play well in the Unreal base,” the trilogy's producer Rich Rosado told . Rosado was unwilling to say anything more than that, especially since he was speaking before launch day. The producer added players will need to find out which cheats work and which ones don't for themselves, even implying some new ones may have made the cut.
Some of the games' original cheats aren't the only things missing from the remasters that were in the original games. While the tracklist across the trilogy's 29 radio stations is almost the same, there are a few songs missing due to licensing issues. Billie Jean and Killing In The Name have not made the cut. Cassidy's confederate flag has also been removed for obvious reasons.
