Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition finally launched yesterday. The first to play it have been comparing how the remastered games look versus the originals as well as finding what has been added to the new games, not to mention what's missing. However, some who bought the game before and since it went live have barely been able to play it at all.
That's due to Rockstar performing maintenance on the Rockstar Launcher shortly after 2 pm ET on launch day. A curious decision, and one that suggests there is a major problem as more than 15 hours later, maintenance is ongoing. That means neither the trilogy nor any other Rockstar games available on PC, including Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5, are currently playable.
“We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work on restoring services for the Rockstar Games Launcher and supported titles,” the latest tweet from Rockstar Support reads. That tweet was sent a little more than an hour ago, at which stage the trilogy and all other Rockstar games had been down for 15 and a half hours. You're also unable to buy the GTA Trilogy from Rockstar's online store at this moment in time. Worrying, but it makes sense as for the time being that will only result in more angry customers.
The early reactions to GTA's remastered trilogy have been mostly positive with a few negative remarks mixed in. Not just the PC problem, which is the most major, but some aren't happy with the way the games look. Strange as they are markedly improved on the original games. Vice City's Tommy, in particular, looks like an entirely new man. He hasn't used his 20 years of peace to learn how to swim, though.
For the most part, those who are actually able to play The Definitive Edition appear to be pretty pleased with it. Most of the songs from the original game have made the tri꧒p, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the same goes for most of the cheats, and there even appear 🌳to be easter eggs from other Rockstar games hidden around the better-looking versions of the 20-y𒁏ear-old maps. Hopefully PC players will be able to enjoy all of that sooner rather than l൩ater.
