As we've previously reported, Take-Two went on the offence against the GT♔A modding community this year, right before the remastered trilogy was announced. It was one of the first clues that the re﷽masters were on the way, as the publisher was targeting mods that made improvements to GTA 3, Vice Ci𒊎ty and San Andreas. But now, fans seem to be praising those very same modders more than the official trilogy itself.

In the wake of a launch 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fraught with performance issues, players are praising the past work of modders, who have spent years offering unofficial remasters. This comes as PC players are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:still unable to actually play the ga🌺me, as ൩Rockstar continues removing f♈iles that were accidentally left in the game.

Both in the replies to Rockstar's tweets, and over on the GTA subreddit, many fans are making comparisons between the visuals in the official remaster, and modded remasters released much earlier.

While the new art style for characters had been a point of contention since its reveal, many complaints post-launch are highlighting clear mistakes rather than intended aesthetic changes. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:As we reported yesterday, some characters have impossibly bent backs and arms when riding bikes, and othꦿers have fingers more than twice🔴 the usual size.

Prom❀inent GTA modder, Silent, explains to TheGamer why some players will be turning to the older releases, rather than the remasters.

"People are disappointed because the remasters introduced and/or left issues in areas the modding community took care of years ago", Sile🔯nt explains in a message.

Take-Two's hostile stance prior to release also means that some modders may not actually want to offer fanmade fixes for bugs and other issues.

"People obviously are scavenging through the games right now, but a lot of people burned out because of those recent takedowns and the overall negative stance towards modding", Silent says. "I'm sure people will be trying to mod those new releases further, but many people don't think it's worth it right now."

"No on💎e expected them to ever care about mods for the classic GTAs. The general feeling was that GTA San Andreas and older are fair gam𝕴e, so it was unexpected."

Take-Two is still pursuing legal action against the team b༒ehind the GTA Reverse Engineering Project, so it doesn't look likely that the situation will change anytime soon.
