There are many reasons why Square Enix's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Guardians Of The Galaxy should be considered among the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:greatest Marvel games in 🍌recent memory. So much so that many fans would disagree on the game's greatest trait. Most would agree, though, that the writing of the title is at very least one of its best assets. Not just in terms of story, either, as the dialogue is spectacular.
The script is funny, smart, and, on occasion, emotional. As a result, all of the protagonists have depth and are likable. The antagonists, on the other hand, are intentionally sympathetic and understandable. These are the b♏est lines uttered during the adventure.
Warning! There are plenty of spoilers below!
10 “I’m Pretty Sure 'Exploring' Is Code. It Means He Went The Wrong Way, But Is Too Stubborn To Admit It.” - Gamora
During the game, you're able to make 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:plenty of big choices, but the route to your objective is not one of them. Guardiansℱ Of The Galaxy provides a linear path for you to follow. Yeꦍt, you can occasionally veer off of it to find resources and collectibles.
In these moments, some of the title's funniest lines are delivered as your teammates actually make comments about you leaving the main path. On one occasion, Gamora says the line in question.
9 🐎 &ldquoꦜ;I Too Would Prefer Peter Quill’s Incompetence To The Rodent’s Lies.” - Drax
While Peter is the de facto leader of the Guardians, Rocket occasionally enters into a bit of a power struggle with the human. Most of the time, it's about who controls and owns the Milano. Yet, on the road to Lady Hellbender's lair, Rocket also makes a play for Star-Lord's fancy visor, believing he would make better use of it.
Gamora and Drax disagree with their furry teammate because they feel he's untrustworthy. The Destroyer hilariously remarks that he'd prefer Quill's incompetence over lies. As it's Drax, he doesn't mean it as a joke, which makes it even funnier.
8 “🤪Oh, My Gilded Glutes!” - Rocket
Adam Warlock is easily the most serious character that the main crew joins forces with during the game. He doesn't purposely make any jokes, but his overly sophisticated vocabulary and heavy use of alliteration become a running gag.
At one point, Rocket mocks the golden guy by imagining what he could've said when the raccoon shot him in the butt. It's a fantastic impression that encourages his team members to deliver their own versions. While each one is humourous, Rocket gets the credit for doing it first and creatively using the word "glutes."
7 “Peter Quill&helli🌄p; I Hope Your Mother Found Her Way To Heaven.” – Drax
Most of the dialogue in Guardians is c🧜omical, yet there are serious moments, too. One of the deepest occurs on Knowhere when Peter and Drax look into the rift and share a conversation about their lost loved ones.
They both explain their culture's version of the afterlife. Peter opts to tell his friend about heaven and his belief that his mother is there. And the end of the conversation, Drax expresses his hope that Peter's mom did make it to the promised land. The beautiful moment is one of many 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:missable things in the game that are worth finding.
6 “I Am Not Being Stubborn. I Just Refuse To Change My Mind” - 🅠Star-Lord
Regularly, Peter has to explain what certain words and phrases mean to Drax and, sometimes, Rocket. However, this quote proves he's perhaps no expert on the matter himself. Throughout chapter three, the team constantly debate whether Groot or Rocket is the best choice to be their pretend monster.
As the leader, Star-Lord ultimately gets to decide ꦇon their plan, but some of the others continually try to convince him to change his mind. And when he gets called stubborn, he gives a brilliantly contradictory statement.
5 “Almost Made Yourself A Very Late War Casualty.&💟rdquo; - Rocket ♕
At the beginning of the story, the protagonists travel into a Quarantine zone filled with remnants of the war. Unsurprisingly, the place is extremely unstable, so Star-Lord ends up ⛦almost falling to his death.
In response, Rocket doesn't ask if his friend is okay or show any concern whatsoever. Instead, he laughs at his buddy's misfortune and makes a joke. It might be a little mean, but the line in question is admittedly very clever.
4 ꧃ "How Can You Be Frienꦐds With A Monster?" – Gamora
The game doesn't explore Gamora's back story as much as it does Peter's or Drax's. However, when trying to stop Raker on Knowhere, she does provide a bit of information. The assassin heartbreakingly explains that she had to kill her sister Nebula, and it's clear that she feels awful for doing so.
She kept the incident from the others because she believed herself to be a monster that they wouldn't want to befriend. However, they realize that she isn't among 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the long list of Marvel villains and accept her.
3 “Good Speech. Blast Him.” - Star-Lord 🐭
A common sight in video games, movies, and TV shows is when a villain delivers a long speech directly in front of the protagonists. And despite being adversaries, the hero typically lets their nemesis finish what they're saying.
That doesn't happen in the Guardians Of The Galaxy's fight with Raker, however. The antagonist attempts to say something, but an impatient Peter shoots him before he can get started. Then Star-Lord sarcastically praises Raker's words before getting his allies to attack.
2 “Congratulations, Peter Quill! You Will Make A Terrible F🗹ather.” - Drax
There are several differences between Square Enix's version of the Guardians and the ones provided by the MCU. For instance, in this version, Peter's main love interest is Ko-Rel. And at one point, the team finds information to suggest that Star-Lord is the father of her daughter, Nikki.
Drax is happy for his friend and even congratulates him. Yet, he immediately follows it up with his signature brand of brutal honesty by questioning Peter's parenting skills. The immediacy between the two contrasting comments is what makes it hilarious.
1 “I Will Cherish The Time T🌸hat We Had, And Not Resent The Time That We Lost” - Drax
Arguably the most emotional moment of the entire game comes when the Guardians try to break Drax free from the Promise's grip. It's a difficult situation because he finally has the chance to spend time with his wife and child again, even if it's not real.
However, his friends manage to convince him to let his loved ones ♏go. He then participates in a tear-jerking goodbye. During this, he delivers a powerful message about remembering the go𒀰od times; instead of feeling angry about the moments that could never be.
