During the first chapter of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, you will come across a gross maggot-filled Parasite Nest. Shooting this will begin a competition between you and Rocket to see who can shoot the most nests. Beating Rocket will uncock the 'Eat It, Rodent' achievement/trophy.
This guide is going to go over where to keep an eye out for nests as you play through. Please bear in mind, it appears Rocket will randomly generate points for himself even when there doesn't necessarily seem to be any nests around to shoot.
First Nest
You can't miss this one. Shoot it to begin the competition and make the scoreboard appear on your visor.

Second Batch of Nests
After th♔e first t꧑ime when you have to ask Groot to build a bridge, quickly follow the path round to the right, and on your left are a bunch of nests to shoot.
Third Batch of Nests
After deploying the second thumper and dealing with the enemies, you'll travel through the pathway they opened up and get a closer look at the large robot face on the other side. Follow the path up to the left and shoot the nest in the distance on the right as soon as it appears.
Continue up the path and then after🐠 you reach the debris on your left, shoot out the white gunk and then jump over to the next area, where there are two more nests to shoot.

Fourth Batch of Nests
After shooting out the eye of the large robot face and making a bridge across, prepare yourself. This next room is filled with nests on all levels — above, below, caged in the𝔍 center — you need to beat Rocket to the punch here.

Note: We found lurking on the threshold of this nest-filled ro🍬om made Rocket wait for you to enter before he started shooting, so if this works for you, stand in the threshold and sho꧃ot as many as you can see before actually moving inside. |
Fifth Batch of Nests
Aftꩵer you get separated from Groot, quickly follow Rocket to the path around to the right and get ready to shoot out this batch of nests.
Next, jump to the next platform and climb up a level,💟 then take a right, doubling back on yo🐎urself to find another hidden nest.
Jump over to the next pღlatform, but turn around after doing so and you can shoot a nest thaඣt was just below where you last were.
Sixth Batch of Nests
After Rocket gets the turbine open, there are two nests just inside. Be quick to get ⛄them both.
Shortly afterward, you'll begin sliding down a tunnel and there is a nest you can shoot at while you slide.
Final Nest
Finally, when you and Rocket enter the darkꦆ area. As soon as the lights come up, shoot the nest in front of you.
