168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Guardians of the Galaxy surprised a lot of players when it launched in 2021. Though its emphasis on classic rock mixtapes and its portrayals of Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot, and Rocket drew heavily from James Gunn's movies, Eidos-Montreal's action game did more than enough to set itself apart from its MCU counterparts.

Just like a classic rock song many singers have taken a crack at, there are plenty of ways to cover the Guardians of the Galaxy. (Flark, even in video games, we've seen 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:multiple approaches in recent years). But, while creators may have different takes on these iconic characters, just about every player will ha🍒ve similar experiences as they put their jet boots through their paces. Her🀅e are six relatable things that every Guardians of the Galaxy player will do at some point in their playthrough.

6 ꦍ Spend Way Too Much Time In The Photo Mode

Guardians of the Galaxy's world is gorgeous, a mash of pink goos, shining metals, bright lights, and kitschy upholstery. And, since it launched, Eidos-Montreal has added ray-tracing to the PS5 version, which means you can now spot some impressive reflections (and not just when Peter Quill is fixing his hair in the mirror). The result is that GOTG is an impressive showcase for current-gen hardware. And, given that the game conveniently allows you to activate photo mode with a simple click of the thumbsticks, you may find yourself spending a disproportionate amount of time during your playthrough dollying the camera around in search of that one perfect shot.

I don't think I've got it yet, but the results are still awfully pretty. I mean look at this…

5 𒊎 Close The Fridge Every Time You Pass

Guardians Of The Galaxy Fridge Door Open On Milano.

If you’re anything like us, you probably closed the fridge door roughly a dozen times before you stopped to think, “Huh, why is the fridge door always open? Who is leaving the fridge door open?” Regardless of why the appliance is impervious to our attempts at organization, we always take a little time to make sure it’s shut before we head out for a mission. But that doesn't change the fact that it will 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:inevitably be open again, letting all the cold ai𒁏r out, as s﷽oon as we turn our rhinestone-studded back to it, does it?

4 Feel Awfꦑul W༺hen You Blow A Huddle

Guardians Of The Galaxy Full Team Huddle.

In Guardians of the Galaxy, each huddle brings the opportunity to pump your team up, refill their health bars, and instantly cool down all their recently used attacks. But, it's also an opportunity to… embarrass yourself in front of your team.

While Guardians of the Galaxy is strictly a single-player game, the huddle mechanic reinforces the importance of being a team player. If Peter Quill can't motivate his team to succeed, they won't be as effective at helping him succeed. If you choose the right motivational dialogue, all of your pals get a damage buff. If you don't, you're the only one who gets a boost. And when that happens, it feels terrible. You know how bad you felt choosing to wipeout Nuketown in Fallout 3? Choosing a response that makes Rocket dunk on you is way, way worse.

3 🍃 Start Saying “What the flark?”

In the world of GOTG, the f-bomb does not exist. At least, it seems like it doesn't exist, because . So, what the flark is going on here?

Well, the simplest explanation — that Square Enix was targeting the same audience of kids and teenagers that has made the MCU a dominating cultural force, and thus couldn't include much in the way of four-letter words — is probably the best one. But, the result is that Guardians' characters are constantly saying "flark" and after a while with the game, you probably will be too. You also might start saying "scut," "D'ast," and/or "chogs." Look, Rocket may need to have his mouth washed out with teeth cleaning tablets.

2 Flark U𝔉p The Rapid Reload 🎐

Guardians Of The Galaxy Star-Lord Hover Rapid Reload Meter.

Early on in Guardians of the Galaxy, you get a perk called Rapid Reload which allows you to, potentially, skip the waiting period when your blasters overheat and get right back to shootin🍎g🅷. To do that, you need to nail a little minigame. As your blasters cool down, you can hit the right trigger within a small window to get right back to blasting.

But, in the heat of battle, as you manage the rest of the Guardians' attacks, it's easy to get distracted, right? Are you really playing Guardians of the Galaxy if you don't occasionally catch yourself flarkin' up a rapid reload?

1 𝕴 Forget The MCU Guardians

Guardians Of The Galaxy Drax Stuck Gamora Reaching Out

If you're anything like us, your first reaction to the reveal trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy might have been: "Those don't quite look like the Guardians of the Galaxy." After all, the year before, Square Enix published 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel's Avengers, a game whose cast looked like they could have starred in a B-movie called, like, The Revengers, which you would have rolled your eyes at as you walked past at Blockbuster Video. When a game studio doesn't have access to the likenesses of the actors who have made these roles iconic, the results can be hit-and-miss. And, at first, this take on the Guardians seemed like it might be a miss.

But, as we played through GOTG, we quickly came to appreciate just how distinct this take feels from the MCU versions of the characters. Some are more similar than others. Alex Weiner's take on Rocket Raccoon does sound pretty close to Bradley Cooper's rodent rasp. But, Jon McLaren's Star-Lord and Kimberly Sue-Murray's Gamora are clearly going for something different than their big screen counterparts. And this Guardians story is well-written enough that you probably won't even be thinking about Chris Pratt or Dave Bautista after an hour or two in their world.
