The Canthans uniquely use Jade to store energy and power their tech. In this article, we're reviewing all of the technology in the open world that you can interact with! Keep in mind that you'll need to have earned your Jade Bot first by finishing the fifth chapter of the story.

Jade Battery

The Jade Batteries are at the heart of almost everything you do with your Jade Bot. When you interact with them, they'll give your Jade Bot a Charge that will be used to power other jade technology. When you first get your Jade Bot, it will earn 1 Charge from each Jade Battery and will hold up to 2 Charges total. These nuꦛmbers 🧸can increase if you invest some time into the Jade Bot Mastery Track.

Jade Tech Zip Line

Jade Tech Zip Lines are used to quickly transport the player from one place to another. They usually don't extend too far, but they can be a lifesaver when navigating the winding city streets and tall cliffs of Cantha.

The Zip Line is one of the few exceptions to the Jade Battery rule; you don't need a Charge to use it. Indeed, once you've put time into the Jade Bot Mastery Track, you'll actually be able to earn Charges by using Zip Lines.

Jade Tech Lantern

Jade Tech Lanterns, and Jade Lanterns, are basically just there to be pretty. If you interact with them, they'll take 1 Charge and light up! They're particularly beautiful at night.

The Jade Tech Lanterns found at the renown quest in New Kaineng City are activated when you're in the air with your Jade Bot after interacting with a Jade Bot Terminal.

The smaller ones, Jade Lanterns, are depicted on the right-hand side of the image above. These are scattered across Cantha. Finding and activating them at key locations will earn you some achievement points!

Jade Tech Security Turret

The Jade Security Turrets will attack your enemies in combat, and they are particularly helpful during events with lots of mobs. Usually, they're perfectly operational but, occasionally, you'll find that they've been damaged. You can use 1 Charge to repair the Security Turret to working order.

Jade Tech Teleporter

Jade Tech Teleporters do exactly what you'd expect: they teleport you! They require 1 Charge to use. Some Teleporters are set up to take you to🥃 one place automatically, while others will give you a list of locations you💃 could possibly teleport to.

Jade Tech Offensive/Defensive Protocol

Jade Tech Offensive or Defensive Protocols look like floating orbs with rings circling them. When you interact with them - with costs 1 Charge - you'll get special temporary buffs for combat!

Training Mech Console

Training Mech Consoles allow you to test your skills against these new opponents: Jade creatures! Depending on your selection, it can spawn up to 3 Jade Mechs to attack you. It requires🦄 1 Charge to use.

Jade Bot Workbench

Jade Bot Workbenches can be found scattered all over Cantha. To find them easily, you can look for a little Jade Bot icon on your map. You don't need to have a Charge to use it.

These Workbenches allow you to change the Modules you're using in your personal Jade Bot. The Jade Bot's core can be swapped without them.

Jade Bot Terminal

Jade Bot Terminals are computer terminals that the player can interact with. They allow you to take control of your Jade Bot independently and fly it around! Perfect for snapping pictures of beautiful New Kaineng City. It doesn't require a Charge to use.
