While the game is relatively well-balanced, and you should aim to play the character you like th𒁏e best above all else, it’s nice to know how strong a character is before jumping in. 𒅌For those looking to play the strongest fighters in Guilty Gear Strive, these are some of the characters you’ll want to commit to.

10 Zato-One

Zato-One and Eddie in Guilty Gear Strive

Zato is one of the most polarizing characters in Guܫilty Gear Strive. His strengths are very apparent, such as his incredible neutral control, scary mixups, and ability to loop his offense with ease. While hisꦕ strengths make for a character you can’t sleep on, he has some tough matchups, particularly against characters who can deal with his puppet, Eddie.

There are a handful of characters that give him trouble, par🌳ticularly those that have an easier time taking out Eddie, as he is at his strongest when he gets to fight alongside him. Needless to say, in matchups where Eddie gets to shine, he is just as scary as any top-tier character, and one who requires you to be on point to defeat.

9 Jack-O

Jack-O from Guilty Gear Strive

Jack-Oไ is a unique character. She plays somewhat like an RTS character in a fighting game, setting do⭕wn her minions that fight for her, and requiring the opponent to fight both Jack-O as well as the minion fighters at the same time. There are few feelings worse than being stuck in the corner against Jack-O with a swarm of minions on top of you.

Without minions, she’s a pretty staღndard fighter, but with minions, there’s no character that does what she does. All the diꦯfferent abilities she can command her minions to do make her a very tough character to fight against.

8 Bridget

Bridget from Guilty Gear Strive

Bridget has proven t♔hat she can stand toe-to-toe with the rest of the cast. She has some of the best mobility in the game, some great far-reaching normal attacks to control neutral with, and her signature yo-yo toss opens up all kinds of doors for her.

Her yo-yo not only gives her great mobility options, but it also gives her very good offense, both in terms of pressure and in terms of setplay. When the yo-yo is on top of you, you’re going to have to guess, and if you guess wrong, you’ll be put back into the mixup ble💞n𝔍der. Her only major flaw is that her damage output is quite low, but her great mobility, offense, and mixups more than make up for it.

7 Giovanna

Giovanna and her dog Rei in Guilty Gear Strive

Giovanna is one of the most well-rounded fighters in Strive. She has great mobility, fantastic normals, scary offense, and can dish out damage at a moment's notice. Her unique aspect is her dash — acting differently than most characters, it gives her some of the best whiff punish abilities in the game, and lets her weave in and out of her opponent’s attack ranges.

Her dash is strong on its own, but when combined with her fantastic buttons, she becomes a force to be reckoned with. This combination gives 𝄹her great opportunities to start her offense, which, in the right hands, can be a nightmare to defend against.

6 Nagoryuki

Nagoryuki from Guilty Gear Strive

Nagoryuki received some pretty tough nerfs, but despite that he remains a very strong character. While he now takes mor💛e damage depending on his current blood level, he still has all the strengths that he had before, such as incredible ro🃏undstart options, explosive damage, and great normals.

Offense is still the name of the game with Nagoryuki. His offense is brutal, especially when he has your b🧜ack against the corner. Even though his offense is primarily mids, knowing when to use which defensive options can be tough, and a Nagoryuki who runs their offense properly can be very challenging. In spite of the nerfs, Nagoryuki is no slouch.

5 🅘 💯 Ramlethal Valentine

Ramlethal Valentine from Guilty Gear Strive

While Ramlethal was nerfed, she is still one of Guilty Gear Strive’s strongest characters. Her normals are huge, as well as disjointed, meaning that she can wait outside of other characters' attack ranges and whiff punish them when they strike with relative ease.

Her sword toss also gives her some terrifying corner pressure. She can throw her swords, strike her opponents, and time her blockstring so the swords explode as she is done attacking. While her mixups aren't the strongest, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:her RPS is very strong in the corner, and forcꦗes opponents to make risky decisions on defense that she can score big damage off of.

4 🌠 Chipp Z🍸anuff

Chipp Zanuff from Guilty Gear Strive

The fastest character in the game also happens to be one of the best. While Chipp’s low life𝔉 makes him crumble into dust if he gets hit a few times, he has no other major flaws, and his strengths more than make up for that one weakness. His speed offers unmatched mobility, letting him rush his opponents down, run away and play keep-away, or hang around in neutral and whiff punish.

His pressure forces the opponent to block and crank up their R.I.S.C., or guess on defense and run the risk of getting opened up. His mix🀅ups are also strong, being one of the toughest characters to block against in the game. His speed and offense make for one of the best characters in the game, and one that is difficult to fight against.

3 May

May From Guilty Gear Strive

May is one of the most explosive fighters. Her damage output is among the highest in the game, in some instances even being enough to win rounds just off of one interaction. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Her well-known dolphin attack allows her to force herself in, and when she’s in, she becomes an ꦫabsolute terror.

Her dolphin attacks, jumping normals, grounded normals, and command grab give her a variety of offensive options that opponents have to worry about, just about all of which can result in huge damage for May. Her normals and jump arc make her difficult to contain in neutral as well, and even the slightest mistake against her can result in d🔯isaster. While she may be small, she is a force to be reckoned with in battle.

2 Leo Whitefang 🐭

Leo Whitefang from Guilty Gear Strive

Leo is a terrifying, in-your-face 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:rushdown character with some of the best mixups in the game. He has fantastic neut⭕ral control with great buttons, solid projectiles, and easy ways to force his pressur൩e. In the event he gets in trouble, he has his flashkick, an invincible uppercut that he can use on wakeup or while being pressured, which also happens to ignore left-right mixups.

Leo’s signature mechanic is his back turn stance, a separate stance that gives Leo access to devastating high-low, as well as left-right mixups. He can enter this stance after using a variety of moves, and they give him the opportunity to completely run over his opponent if the🍬y guess wrong. His conjunction of having some of the best defense and offense in the game make him a scary character to fight against both on offense and defense.

1 ♉ Happy Chaos

Happy Chaos from Guilty Gear Strive

While Happy Chaos has been nerfed a handful of times, he has remained the best character in the game since his release. While he has a bit of a learning curve, if you're willing to learn him, you'll be rewarded with powerful strengths and almost non-existent weaknesses.

Happy Chaos’ zoning is enough to make him strong on its own, but his best-in-class normals allow him to hold his own even after his opponents get past it, and his ability to shoot after whไiffing a normal lets him get away with using what would otherwise be punishable attacks. On top of everything, his offense lets him have many chances to open the opponent up, and if he has meter, he can extend his turn even further. His various strengths add up to an incredibly strong character who can handle any matchup in the game.
