A new Guinness World Record has been set by people performing a massive Fortnite emote dance routine.

If there was ever a concern that the art of dance would eventually disappear from this world, Fortnite is here to put a stop to it. At this year’s Paris Games Week, a legion of Fortnite fans all gathered together to put on their best impressions of a Korean pop group, an ancient Halo meme, and Turk from the short-lived sitcom Scrubs.

ဣAnd someh⛎ow it set a Guinness World Record while they were at it.

Paris Games Week takes place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles every year, with legions of French gamers all piling in for the largest games expo in France. Since Fortnite is an internationa♛l sensation at this point, Epic Games was there to put on their own publicity stunt and get everybody dancing.

A total of 383 Fortnite fans were all given Cuddle Team Leader hoodies, lined up on the dance floor, and ordered to perform their best rendition of such Fortnite emote classics as Boogie Down, Dance Moves, Orange Justice, a𝓰nd G🤪roove Jam.

When the dust finally cleared, a new world recorඣd for "most participants in a video game emote routine" had been set. Which seems oddly specific, but ever since Guinness obtained the ability to store as many records as they wanted thanks to digital ledgers, it’s been pretty much the wild west for record-setting.

Sadly, this wasn’t an in-game dance routine, which likely would have been far more impressive. First, because most Fortnite games are limited to 100 players, and second because none of them broke ranks to begin murdering 🉐each 🉐other.

Epic shared the event on their official Fortnite Twitter page, showcasing the awesome Fortnite swag that lucky participants were able to grab. Even if they didn’t take part in the dance event, anyone who droไpped by the Epic booth received a code for a free in-game spray. Called the “Kab-Llama”, it features a llama exploding. Get it? Eh?

reports we’re already seeing Kab-Llama codꦺes appearing online for as m🌌uch as 10 Euros a pop, too.
