In short, no matter what happens, you need to practice and learn each boss separately to be good at them. For Eris, the Strife Incarnate boss fight, you'll have to learn the fight wisely because you don't get enough upgrades through boons and items because it is the second boss fight of the whole run. Here are some quick tips on how to beat Eris every time in the Rift of Thessꦗaly.
Hades 2 is currently in Early Access on Stꦗea𓄧m. This guide will be updated if required as changes are made to the game.
Eris, Strife Incarnate Boss Location
Eris, Strife Incarnate is the second boss of the surface, and she resides at the end of the Rift of Thessaly. First, 1﷽68澳洲幸运5开奖网:unlock the ward blocking the path to the surface. Then go through to the surface and finish the City of Ephyra by beating the Cyclops, Polyphemus, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the mini-boss Charybdis.
This will lead you aboard a ship, which is also known as the Rift of Thessaly. Go along the ship and you'll end up at the coast. Eris will meet you here as the second boss of the surface route.
Eris, Strife Incarnate's Dangerous Attacks
Eris has a few dangerous attacks. The most notable one is her ability to start launching missiles.
This is easy to avoid but extremely dangerous if you ever get hit by it. You'll start seeing big red circles on the floor which indicate that Eris is about to launch some missiles. Move quickly to a safe location and try to ignore doing damage for now.
For Eris's next dangerous attack, she channels a strong single-shot projectile marked with a purple line. If you move around, the line will follow you, and it is pretty fast and on point. Sprinting around won't help, so it is best to keep dashing and try to get the timing right and dash immediately when she shoots the projectile.
In the boss arena, you'll see two statues in the middle. You can hide behind these statues to block the projectiles. However, these statues take damage and once they are broken, you cannot use them for shelter anymore. If you have a bunch of AoE attacks, you can accidentally break them too.
She usually fires after three seconds, so if you are used to the fight, you can start hitting her at the sta🔥rt because she is somew💟hat vulnerable while charging her attack.
When Eris gets a bit low, she adds more dangerous attacks to her moveset. In the image above, you'll see Eris firing a wide cone of projectiles toward your direction. These projectiles are fast, and while they don't do as much damage as her other attacks mentioned before, it is much harder to dodge.
You need to move away from Eris and try to dodge the projectile from far away by dashing toward her when the projectile is about to reach you. There is also another variation to this attack where she fires these projectiles in a singular line toward you. In this case, your best way to dodge it is by sprinting laterally.
Eris has several more attacks, but most of them are quite straightforward. She sometimes goes to the center and starts spinning, shooting projectiles clockwise, which can be dodged by either sprinting in the same rotation or dodging through the initial projectiles.
Eris, Strife Incarnate Fight Strategy
Based on Eris's attacks, she either does a few slow attacks, exposing herself to damage, or some fast attacks to catch players off-guard. One of the best ways to deal with her attacks is to always keep sprinting and moving around.
If your build is a bit slow, you might struggle a little bit because her attacks force you to move a lot. You are mostly a꧅voiding the projectiles thrown against you while avoiding the burning ground at the corners of🎉 the coast.
Try to deal most of your damage after dodging an attack. Apart from those opportunities, you can also deal damage while she is channeling attacks.
In the middle of the fight, she'll start to spawn some enemies. Eris leaves the fight briefly, but if you don't deal with these enemies fast, she'll join them in battle.
If you explore the corners of the coast, you'll see some explosive barrels lying around. Try to bait Eris into charging straight to one of these corners. When she does, try to break the barrels or make her do it herself as they explode for roughly 1,000+ damage.
Once you have defeated her, she'll drop a Golden Apple as a reward, which you can use to unlock the Divinity Arcana card at the Crossroads.
