The Fated List in Hades is basically the game's version of an achievement system (though there are a lot of us who wish there was more to it). Zagreus completes a "prophesized" task and gains random rewards, ranging from a chunk of Gemstones to a pile of Diamonds.
These tasks are sometimes story-focused but most of the time they have to do 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:with experiencing all the Boons, weapons, Aspects, and types of encounters Hades has to offer. That said, fully completing this in-game system is no easy task, but we've done it, and here are some of the things that helped us out.
Updated August 27th, 2021 by Jacob Buchalter: Hades is a game that people are talking about again, and we’re always happy to see that. The game has finally been released onto all mainline consoles (and was immediately rated one of the 🍒best on both consoles by the player base), is now easily accessible to anyone through Xbox Game Pass, and is just doi♈ng so incredibly well overall.
So, with all the new players in mind, we figured it was smart to look back on our list talking about The Fated List of Minor Prophecies, condense the info a bit, and see if there was anything else we tell you that may make it easier to clear this list out.
10 Keep A List On Hand Of What's Left
There's no way to pull up the Fated List during a run (at least in-game there isn't), so you might want to decide on what you’re going to work towards unlocking beforehand, otherwise, you’ll just forget mid-run what specific Boon to look out for.
Our advice for this is just to make either a physical or mental note of what specific tasks and/or Boons to look out for. It’s small and seems a bit like common sense, but so many people just assume they’ll remember and then they have to pause the game at somꦰe point in a run and look up the prophecy they’re working on to double-check.
9 Double Check For Any Prerequisites ♉
There are a lot of prophecies that have to do with Zagreus using all the Boons a God can offer, the upgrades the Daedalus Hammers provide, or even just trying out every Duo Boon. Obviously, Duo Boons have prerequisites before they’ll even show up, but so do🤡 specific single/Legendary Boons or Daedalus upgrades.
In general, trying out all these Boons is just a trial and error thing, but if you’re trying to get rid of all the prophecies related to specific Boons, make sure you know what you’ll need to grab first to force these Boons to even show up. And it isn't restricted to just Boons either, some Legendary Boons, such as Hermes Greater Recall, actually show up when you use certain Keepsakes too.
8 That Lyre🌺 Prophecy Is Easier Than It൩ Seems
One prophecy that is guaranteed to annoy you is the “Gift of Song”, a prophecy where Zagreus must ಌlearn to play the Lyre. This little Hades spawn is such a neat little character with so many mysteries surrounding him, isn't he? In💦 any case, this instrument is purchased from thꦍe House Contractor of course to set it up in Zag’s room and Orpheus himself has plenty to say about Zagreus attempting to learn it.
The thing is, most people assumed they could only strum this Lyre a certain amount of times before a run, but that actually isn't true. You can actually just sit there and strum on the Lyre all 210 times it takes in one go, and while this method is more tedious, it is easier in the long run and has less chance of you forgetting how far along you were.
7 Say Yes To Everything, Especially Fated Choice Options 💜
A large majority of the Fated List of Minor Prophecies is all about experiences. Makes sense, right? Obviously, Supergiant wants you to enjoy everything their masterpiece has to offer (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and that'll take quite a while). So, a good piece of advice for those of you trying to work your way through this list is just to take every opportunity that presents itself. Don’t pass up on anything! A fishing spot shows up? Try and catch something new. Does Charon&r🉐squo;s Shop have that big sack of Obol ripe for the taking? Snag that thing and make sure to win against him.
Heck, even try a run with every Keepsake (some are easier than others). Hades is all about experimentation, at the end of the day. And, luckily, the game is actually designed to mak🍷e it easier to experiment thanks to the scroll icons next to certain Boons that tell you this is one that’s part of a prophecy. They call this scroll feature a “Fated Choice” and it basically means this is a Boon you should probably grab if you’re working♊ on clearing out the Fated List.
6 ﷽ Remember To Equip Boon Buffing Keepsakes & Skills 🐻
Collecting all the Duo and Legendary Boon prophecies in Hades does take a while, especially if you aren't exactly the best at getting to the endgame or completing a run yet.
But, one thing that can really help with that is using the Mirror of Night talent called Gods’ Pride that increases the chance of finding Legendary or Duo Boons as well as using the Keepsakes168澳洲幸运5开奖网: the Olympus Gods give to Zagreus. Using these in combination makes finding the Boon that's needed for a Duo Boon essentially a certainty. Then, the rest of the run is just a roll of the dice to see if you’re lucky enough to have the Duo/Legendary itself appear.
5 ও 👍 Clear Your Exclamation Points, Always
This next one is a simple tip for the story-based prophecies, but it's also just common sense for Supergiant Games titles in general, such as Bastion, Pyre, and Transistor. If there's ever an NPC with that exclamation point bubble above their head, talk to them.
These are the conversations that progress the story and individual bonds, and they should never be ignored. Not only because of the incredible writing for each character but also because of the rewards Zagreus can earn from doing this, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:even in the post-endgame content. A bunch of the prophecies have to do with Bond levels and getting these things to max-rank can take forever if you aren’t fully de♛dicated to it since a lot of them only refresh after a successful escape attempt.
4 Don't Dilute The Boon Pool
A great thing about Hades is that it is programmed to offer Boons that can vary up your build as the escape attempt progresses, and this is likely one of the r𓆏easons why the gaming community loves it so much. The RNG will offer all the different Gods at some point in each run,𒅌 though, for someone who is just trying to get one specific Boon option to appear up this can be really annoying.
Luckily, after a while, it does automatically narrow itself down to the God Boons you seem to be preferring. So, while it might be difficult to ignore extra Boons on a run, it's absolutely worth it to decrease the amount of time it takes for the game to start narrowing down the Boon recommendations to the ones you'll really want. For example, need a ♔specific Aphro♎dite Boon? Don’t go into any more Boons rooms until hers is offered.
3 Ma꧟ke A Decision Before You Head In & Stick To It ♏
While clearing out the Minor Prophecies list does take a decent amount of multitasking ability, it doesn't mean that you should always be trying to multitask. Essentially, figure out before you start the escape attempt if this run should be dedicated to actually escaping, or grinding out prophecies. Then, stick to that decision. You shouldn’t be going into a run expecting to clear a prophecy for:
- Killing a specific boss.
- Using a specific Duo Boon.
- Getting a specific NPC Dialog to appear.
- And progressing the main story.
Trying to multitask too much with prophecies that aren’t all too related to each other is just an easy way to fail at comple🦩ting any of them.
2 ꦓ Don&🎃rsquo;t Bite Off More Than You Can Chew
It might seem like common sense, but you re🥀ally shouldn’t be trying to tackle the more difficult prophecy goals while still working on maxing out the Mirror of Night, unlocking all the Weapon Aspects, or even leveling up these Aspects to max rank.
If you’re having trouble beating Charon once, trying to constantly complete the “A Friendly🦩 Wager&r🗹dquo; prophecy where you have to beat him twice in a row just seems ill-advised. Instead, just focus a couple of runs on grinding so that you can level up everything you’re missing and make it that much easier to complete future prophecies as well.
1 ও Your Goal Is Grindin♔g Prophecies, Not Beating Hades
And lastly, don't try and make it to Hades every single time while grinding out prophecies. Sure, escaping the Underworld is sort of the point of the game, but that's not the point of completing prophecies.
If you find that Duo Boon you needed early on in Asphodel, it🃏’ll save you time just to purposely die, reset, turn in the prophecy, and dive in again with a different goal in mind. This is especially relevant if you’re aiming for multiple Duo Boons from different Gods or Legendary Boons, obviously enough.
