Update: that Halo Infinite's multiplayer mode will be free for everyone. In addition to that, the Xbox Ser⛎ies X version will run at 120 FPS for that ultra-smooth experience.

So Halo Infinite might have free multiplayer. That’s prettyꦫ cool, right?

We know that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Halo Infinite will definitely have a multiplayer component, but details on just what that entails have remained pretty slim up until just recently. A new leak courtesy of a toy store might have just given us our first piece of big Halo news that Microsoft hasn’t unveiled yet.

According to a recently removed page from Smyths Toys (that has been and first reported by ), Halo’s multiplayer will be f🃏ree🔥-to-play and display at 120 frames-per-second on the Xbox Series X.

“The legendary Halo series returns with the most expansive Master Chief campa𓄧ign yet and 💖a groundbreaking free-to-play multiplayer experience,” read the listing before it was removed. “Enjoy up to 120 FPS and greatly reduced load times creating seamless gameplay with Xbox Series X.”

Further confirmation of the leak was provided by known Xbox leaker . Along with a free-to-play multiplayer component, Halo Infinite will also get a battle pass and customization options that have never been seen before in a Halo game, suggesting that there might also be some cosmetic microtrans😼actions in store for us.

Moving Halo Infinite’s multiplayer to free-to-play follows a similar move by Activision to make 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty: Warzone free-to-play while keeping the main campaign and other multiplayer options locked behind a paywall. Since battle royale games require an enormous playerbase to function, this might also mean that Halo Infinite will arrive with a battle royale mode.

What we do know about Halo Infinite's multiplayer is that it was designed with the help of professional Halo players. The Halo community was "heavily involved,𒊎" according to Xbox head Phil Spencer, with pro players aiding 343 Industries in making a polished multiplayer experience.
