Xbox has launched a 6'4" cardboard cutout of Master Chief to celebrate the imminent arrival of Halo Infinite, and it's already sold out.
More than a year after it was supposed to arrive alongside the Xbox Series X|S, Halo Inifnite is now only a little more than a month away. Following two technical tests and news that not all of Infinite's modes will be available at launch, it now seems highly unlikely that the game will be delayed even further at this point.
Since Halo is Xbox's flagship series, Infinite can't merely be released without anything to accompany it. A number of Halo-related items have hit the market to hype Inifinite's arrival, the latest of which is a cardboard cutout of Master Chief. While that might seem a little odd to some of you reading this, many others clearly thought it was a good idea since it has already sold out.
The standee retails at $39.99 and can be found through the once it's back in stock. You can enable notifications which will let you know as soon as the cutout becomes available again. It stands at an intimidating 6'4” which means the Halo hero will probably be watching over you while you play Infinite rather than standing alongside you as you wage war in Bazaar.
If you want one of these standees but didn't make it to the Xbox Store before they sold out, there is some good news. The cutouts don't appear to have been snapped up by scalpers as, at the time of typing this, they aren't appearing on resale sites for inflated prices. The same can't be said for Xbox's mini-fridge. The novelty product was made available to the public yesterday and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:sold out in minutes. The fridges im💝mediately started to appear elsewhere for more than they retail for.
Making a massive cardboard Master Chief a part of your family this holiday season isn't the only way you can celebrate the arrival of Infinite. Xbox is also selling Halo-themed Serꦰies X consoles and controllers. The limited-edition Series X continues to sell out quickly wherever it goes on sale, but that's to be expected since the same can still be said of regular Series X consoles too.
