After nearly a decade of begging and pleading, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Halo: Reach has finally come to PC. The first in the lineup of games from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Halo: The Master Chief Collection to hit the platform, it includes almost everything you'd expect from a modern PC port. One thing is notably missing, though: mod support. At the moment, 343 Industries is working on ironing out all the kinks, so mods are currently off the table. Thankfully, 343 isn't stopping people from tinkering with Reach.

In its current form, players can disable Reach's built-in anti-cheat option to mess around with the game. One of the developers from 343 confirmed this going over Reach's recen﷽t re-launch. While this method won't allow for complex modifications, it does give users the chance to see the game's files and alter different parameters. That's typically the first step in creating mods for anythin𒀰g.

At the moment, any modifications will be limited to custom games and the campaign mode. By disabling anti-cheat, Reach will lock you out of entering matchmaking serv𓆉ers. 343 suggests making backups of the main game files if you inte𝓀nd to go this route so you can easily switch between the vanilla and modified versions.

As for whether or not Reach holds up after all these years, it's still a remarkable thing to see the Halo series come back to PC. The last official release in the franchise for PC was back in 2007 when Halo 2 was ported to Windows Vista. Introducing the maligned "Games for Windows Live" service, the arbitrary system requiremen🌳t left a sour taste in people's mouths.

When Halo 2 was taken offline on the original Xbox, however, this was the only way to play the game online. The reveal of The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One reintroduced the game to a new generation and brought back online support for what was a fan favorite installment. Depending on how quickly these new PC ports happen, we could end up seeing Halo 2 come to PC again next year.

For now, it's time to re-enter the fight with Noble Team anಌd experience their dram🧸atic sacrifice all over again.
