10 🎃 The Package

Out of all of the levels in Halo: Reach, "The Package" is Halo at its simplest. The player works to damage AA guns, then proceeds to defen🎶d a lab where a great story beat ends the level. It reuses the layout of the ꦜthird campaign level to reasonable effect.

There is nothing wrong with this level. In fact, this is a fantastic mission when compared to most FPS titles. For Halo, however, this level does nothing new. For those who want to rack up high-scores with or against their friends, this level is fantastic for that. The final cutscene in this level is memorable, as we🎀ll.

9 Winter Contingency 𝐆

The first level of Reach forbodes the trials Noble Team will go through as the campaign progresses. It begins sᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚlow, arguably too slow, but quickly picks up. A high-intensity defense 🔜section outdoors is capped off with a smaller skirmish indoors.

This level works so well because of the ramp-up of intensity as the level progresses, introducing more enemies and more varied enemy types. While the 🥃beginning is somewhat slow, the worldbuilding provided by that slow pace beats the negatives that come with it.

8 Exodus

"Exodus" shows how futile the 📖battle against the Covenant is. The player sees rescue ships get sho🥀t down, civilians running away from the Brute shock troopers, and how difficult it is for UNSC Marines to defend their home.

From a gameplay perspective, this level provides great mid-range engagements versus a different enemy type. Brutes are more ba🎶sic than their Sangheili counterparts, but, nevertheless, provide fantastic gunfights for players to partake in.

7 🦩 Tip𒁃 of the Spear

Combining vehicular combat, close and long-range infantry combat, and great storytelling, "Tip of the Spear" is instantly recognizable to almost any Halo fan. From the puꦫlse-pounding opening to the dramatic end꧙ing, this level is an adrenaline-fueled adventure from start to finish.

Players get access to nearly every weapon Reach has and a great selection of vehicles to boot. The story contained in this level is focused more on the objectives at hand, which detracts slightly from this otherwisꦡe phenomenal level.

6 ON🃏I: Sword Base

Calling in orbital bombardments will never get old. Thi﷽s level contains near-perfect pacing, a great environment, and a nice variety of enemies to fight. More surprisingly, this is only the second playable mission in the game.

Players get access to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:extremely powerful Target Locator early on, allowing users to call orbital bombardments on enemi♎es. The player gets surrounded by enemy wraiths and infantry during the section they acquire it, making the usage of it all the more satisfying.

5 🐲 ༒ The Pillar of Autumn

Final levels are typically known for being bombastic with high stakes. "The Pillar of Autumn" is no exception, taking Noble Team to defend the iconic ship from a massive Covenant assault. The emotions t🐻his level gives are a mix of triumph, sadnesꦰs, and overbearing nostalgia.

The sacrifices Noble Team makes, the varied amount of enemies, and the surprisingly good turret section culminate into one of the best finales Halo has seen. No War♎thog run was needed to make this mission fantastic. Fans will know that an epilogue mis⛄sion exists past this level, but that will be mentioned later.

4 New Alexandria 𓆉

Containing one of the b💜est easter eggs in all of gaming, "New Alexandria" provides a great mix of aerial combat and close-range engagements. The awe-inspiring locals help sell that the player is flying in a massive futuristic city. Skyscrapers loom in the distance as Covenant ships patrol the surroundings.

Players work ♐to destroy jammers deployed on the rooftops in the city, which lets them fly around a massive level. Besides the scale, the encounters are also randomized, meaning that the level plays differently every time it is loaded.ܫ Not only is this fantastic for replay value, but it also helps keep the player engaged while flying around this massive city.

3 Long Night of Solstice 🎉

The entries on this list are neck and neck for being amazing levels to replay. However, "Long Night of Solstice" rises above the rest with its dramatic gameplay shift. This is the only mission in any Halo game that allows the player to fly a spaceship.

Complete with lock-on missiles and Gatling guns, the spaceship players fly is incredibly fun to pilot. Starting the m🎐ission and working your way to it is satisfying on its own, but getting to use it is in a le✃ague all on its own. The final cutscene in this level is gut-wrenching, too. Hopefully, .

2 Lone Wolf

Remember the epilogue mission mentioned earlier? This is it. "Lone Wolf" is a playable epilogue that is a fantastic send-off for any Halo fan, giving the player one last chance to fight the C♒ovenant before bꦉeing taken down for good.

This level lacks multiple objectives or a great plot, but the narrative told through the atmosphere lifts this level well above most. Hearing the planet get glassed by capital ships and seeing dead soldiers liter the ground reinforces to the player that Reach is lost. You may𓆏 have saved the Pillar of Autumn, but there was no way you could save the entire planet. It is a fantastic ending to an incredibly well-made campaign.

1 Nightfall

Stealth sections are rare to find in most FPS games, but this level manages to use them to great effect. "Nightfall" starts with enᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚemies unalerted to the player's ℱpresence, meaning approaching each encounter can be done any way they see fit.

Whether sniper from a distance or charging enemies up close, this level allows for an unparalleled amount of replayability. There are more intense combat sections, of course, but those come towards the end of the level. The variety of levels present in Halo: Reach make it not only a fantastic Halo game, but one of the best and most replayable f💮irst-person shooters of all time.
