The world is about to be hers all over a🤪gainThe world is about to be hers all over again. Beloved virtual idol Hatsune Miku is back with a new game,ꩲ and this time, she'll be making her big debut on a Nintendo home console.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39 for the . The latest in the ten-plus-year franchise, Project Diva will likely retain the ser⛄ies' signature rhythm gameplay, as we꧟ll as the deep customization that it's known for.
, Project Diva Mega39 will boast over 101 songs, as well as more that will be added via downloadable content at a later date. These additional songs will be added as DLC to both Project Diva X and Project Diva Future Tone as well. In addition, the game will give players access to more than 300 different outfits fo🉐r the Vocaloids. Whether you're playing as Miku, Rin, or Meiko, you'll be able to deck them out however you see fit.
Project Diva has a long history of getting players up close and personal with their favorite Vocaloids, with surprising (and often frightening) intimacy. Fans are usually given the chance to dress up the characters, build a room for them, and sit with them for as long as they want, looking at them and interacting with them however they see fit. It will be interesting to see how Sega continues to expand on this, especially considering that content wasn't a focus of 2017's excellent Project Diva Future Tone.
It's worth noting that Project Diva being available on the Nintendo Switch is somewhat of a surprise. The series has a long history of being exclusive to Sony platforms, with the series debuting on the PSP, and all of the subsequent games being available on PS3, PS Vita, and PS4. Only two significantly different 3DS spin-offs, Project Mirai, were available on a non-Sony platform. This will mark the first time, then, that Project Diva will be branching out to other companies🙈' systems.
Sega has so far only committed to a vague 2020 release window, but 🦋with any luck𒐪, fans will be sharing with Hatsune Miku sooner rather than later.
