While her buffs only buff pirates, making her mostly dependent on a full pirate team. She can also stand alone, albeit not very well, in a mixed minion team since she still buffs herself (and a Ball of Minions if you have it in play).

Freedealing Gambler is by no means a minion you want to have in your end-game team. She is, however, aꦏn extremely good card thr✱oughout all stages of the game by virtue of her passive.
