Here's a card that has been around for a long, long time. Despite its age, cobalt scalebane is still one of the strongest arena picks in ཧthe game. Having board control, even if its a single minion, and following it up with scalebane is 🦹a nightmare to deal with. Every card your opponent plays becomes a threat that needs to be answered. If scalebane isn't killed within the first couple turns of hitting the board, it will bury you beneath the minions it buffs. As if being capable of single-handedly winning a game wasn't enough, scalebane also has the dragon tag. Making it even better in the present dragon reliant meta.

Half of the cards on this list are dragons. Netherspite historian gives you a chance to discover all of them and more. A perfectly ඣtailored answer to eಌvasive drakonoid. Neat! Seven damage is enough to destroy almost every common threat. Coincidentally, it's also the perfect answer to evasive drakonid. Crowd roaster is an amazing card to play when behind on board, killing the opponent's main threat while producing a sizable one of your own. However, it isn't so great when you're ahead.
The restriction of only targeting minions leaves something to be desired here, but we're not complaining. If it could deal seven to your face, crowd roaster would p🤪robab🗹ly be eating a nerf sooner rather than later.
2 ꧑♉ Evasive Wyrm
Ahead or behind on board, evasive wyrm is great in every situation. It acts as removal for any 5 health or less minion and provides a threat that's hard to answer immediatelyꦰ. On top of all that, it's a dragon. Giving you the synergy you need to make the most of cards like netherspite historian and scalerider. Evasive wyrm does die to blackwing corruptor and troll batrider battlecries, but those are pretty narrow cases. Ultimately, any card that's great in a vacuum is one that you're going to want in your deck. And that's really all there is to be said.

What could be better than one dragon in one card? How about two! Twin tyrant provides an opportuꦅnity at a three for one before you😼 even attack with it. Now that's the value we're looking for. The 8 mana cost is perfect for taking advantage of its twin 4 damage ability, as anything left on your opponent's board likely took damage from one of your previous cards. A successful on curve twin tyrant that wipes the opposing player's board isn't just good, it's downright demoralizing. Any card that's devastating enough to make players concede on the spot is worthy of attention. And that's exactly what twin tyrant does. Oh, I mentioned that it's a dragon, right?
