This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hellblade 2 was first announced way back in 2019, and we've had very little information about the title since then besides a decent trailer and a whole bunch of fancy tech demos. Fortunately, Microsoft has finally given us another gameplay trailer to watch repeatedly until release during the Xbox Games Showcase, which also gave us a release window. While it wasn't a specific as many of us would have liked, we have learned that Hellblade 2 will launch at some point in 2024.

The trailer begain with our titular hero Senua in a mysterious cave, as the walls around her shifted and voices narrated her experience. Just like in the first game, there are a couple of voices constantly occupying Senua, as she sinks investigates a strange symbol on the ground and then sinks into the floor. It's all very mysterious, and very typical of the Hellblade series at this point, but we'll likely learn more details about the story and where Senua is at some point next year.

If this is the first you're hearing of the Hellblade series, the first game made big waves when it was released back in 2017, mainly for its depiction of psychosis. It's a game that encourages you to wear headphones, as voices in Senua's head talk to you throughout the game, doing everything from berating your performance to warning you of enemies. Wearing headphones is meant to make this experience a little more unsettling, and developer Ninja Theory made sure to consult mental health experts during development.

It also had an interesting permadeath system that probably wasn't as critical to the story as it would have liked you to believe. There's no signs that this system is back for Hellblade 2, but the trailer we saw today is very reminiscient of the first game, even if we didn't see much in terms of combat or action. Still, it's nice to see that Hellblade 2 finally has a release window, and that we can expect it to drop at some point in 2024.

Even though we still know very little about Hellblade 2 with today's trailer, we do know that Microsoft and developer Ninja Theory are going all out to make it look as good as possible. Before today's reveal, the last we saw of Hellblade 2 was an in-engine facial animation demo that showcased the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5. Ninja Theory is also pretty confident that the actual game will look just as good too, claiming Hellblade 2 will "push the boundariജes" of f♐acial animation. Let's just hope the actual game is good too, eh?
