How Long Does It Take To Finish?

Getting through Hellboy: Web of Wyrd's main campaign will take you anywhere between 10 and 15 hours depending on your skill level. If you're experienced at playing roguelites and generally know how they work, you should be closer to the 10-hour mark, but if you're new to the genre then it'll take you a bit longer.

Although Web of Wyrd isn't one of the most difficult roguelites out there, it can be challenging when you're coming to terms with its mechanics and during its final hours. If you are struggling, there are some accessibility features in the options that should help you out, with some of the options giving you more health or warning you when enemies are about to strike .

How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent?

Once you've finished the main story of Hellboy: Web of Wyrd, you're given the chance to go back through the biomes to find any collectibles you've missed, gather up different currencies to upgrade Hellboy and his weapons, and earn any achievements you might be missing. Overall, we think it should take you between 20 - 25 hours to 100 percent Web of Wyrd.

Although fully upgrading Hellboy shouldn't take more than a few more runs of the biomes, the real challenge here comes getting all of the collectibles. Since Web of Wyrd is a roguelite, the collectibles are randomly spawned, so you have no set way to gather them, whic🍸h means it might take you a lot of runs to gather all of the diary entries and lore drops.

For one of the achievements, you'll also have to beat each biome's modified version, which essentially makes it more difficult. All-in-all, you're looking at quite a lot of challenges to take on once you've finished the main story, and a lot left for Hellboy to mop up.

How Many Chapters Are There?

Hellboy ready to punch an enemy in Hellboy: Web of Wyrd.

Hellboy: Web of Wyrd has three different chapters, with a final epilogue chapter that lets you keep playing through the Wyrd after finishing the story. The first chapter of the game sees you going through the game's four biomes for the first time, while the second chapter has you revisiting the biomes with a whole new, more difficult layer added to each.

The final chapter of the game has you going through all four of the biomes in one run, which sounds like a monumental task but is a little easier thanks to there being no bosses until right at the end. Then, once you've beaten the game, you're able to go back through the Wyrd however you want, either doing one long run of all four areas, or going through them individually.
