A datamine of the latest update for has uncovered🦄 t-shirts for Chai that all but confirm the rumours that the game is coming to and in the future.
2024 may have only just started, but there have already been a ton of rumours and leaks in the gaming industry. One of the biggest and most controversial (according to some fans) rumours that we've seen so far is that .

♔ Hi-Fi Rush Coming To Nint🐽endo Switch Is A Good Thing
This rhythmꦅ action banger being in the hands of more people 🔥would be amazing news.
This was original𝐆ly reported by several insiders at the start of the year, who originally claimed Hi-Fi Rush was just coming to the Switch, before the rumour grew and suggested it was also coming to PS5. Xbox has done this in the past with Cuphead and Ori and the Blind Forest, so it made sense from a business standpoint, but didn't have any solid evidence backing it up at the time.
That was until the game's most recent update which, in time for its one-year anniversary, added in a bunch of t-shirts for Chai that referenced it making appearances on different consoles, including a shirt for the Xbox, Epic, and Steam versions. Those aren't the only new shirts that have been found in the update, though, that all but confirm further console ports.
To add even more fuel to the fire, theౠ one-year update also added DualSense compatibility and PlayStation symbols, which many took as a💞 sign that it was indeed coming to PS5 at some point.
(who also verified their legitimacy within the game's files), the update also added two other shirts that specifically reference PlayStation and Nintendo. The PlayStation shirt features Chai holding his guitar like Cloud Strife, with the caption "I'm Here Baby", while the Nintendo shirt is bright red and says "Rock Out Anywhere", clearly referencing Nintendo's portable console.
Although the shirts don't explicitly reference PlayStation and Nintendo, considering the other outfits are all nods to the game being on different platforms and storefronts, they're clearly meant to go alongside PS5 and Switch ports of the game, which all but confirms that Hi-Fi Rush is coming to other consoles soon.
Xbox fans have been reacting negatively to this news from the start, as they feel it's an unfair deal since PlayStation and Nintendo aren't sharing games for their console, but I think we should all just be celebrating more people getting to experience Chai's masterpiece. Let's just hope that a physical edition makes an appearance for the encore too.
