Do you know why it's fun to swing a guitar around like a club? Because it's a lot easier than actually learning how to play it. In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hi-Fi Rush, we're a bit iffy on whether Chai actually knows how to play that guitar he swings around, though as the game goes, he seems to start learning.

Even Chai grows over the course of his musical adventure, learning stronger moves and stranger abilities. You can learn and grow while playing as well with the right tricks. After all, anyone can swing a guitar around, but it takes skill to swing a guitar around with style.

7 ✱ Travel Quickly With Dash Cancel 💛

One neat trick the game teaches you during its tutorials is how to dash on the beat. In the middle of any combo attack, you can perform up to three dashes and transition into another combo, so long as you stay on the beat. What the game doesn't tell you is that this also works in reverse.

While you're 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:traversing the level outside of combat, you can perform up to three dashes in a row on the beat, then reset them by performing a quick light attack. In this way, you can dash forward endlessly instead of having to pause after the third dash. It's a much faster way to travel than Chai's default run, making it good for speedrunning or just for when you're feeling impatient.

6 💃 Check The Arrows To Explore Efficiently

Vandelay Campus in Hi-Fi Rush

Okay, this is going to sound really obvious, but stay with us here. All throughout the levels of Hi-Fi Rush are arrow signs, either on the floors or walls, pointing the direction toward progress. There's even a throwaway joke in the chat logs about Vandelay copyrighting the image of an arrow as the "Vandelay Arrow." However, the arrows don't only point the way toward progress; they also, indirectly, point the way toward bonuses.

Hi-Fi Rush's levels are full of hidden 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:secrets and collectibles, but sometimes, when there's a fork in the road, it's not immediately clear which way is tangible progress and which way is bonus stuff. When in doubt, look to the arrows, then go whichever way they're not pointing. Odds are good; you'll find some side routes with extra gears, upgrade pieces, and other hidden goodies.

5 Don't Like A Move? Sell It Back

At the hideout between levels and at designated access points, you can access the shop to purchase new moves and abilities with your collected gears. The move list in the shop has fairly detailed descriptions and videos of how each one works, though sometimes, you can't really get the full sense of it without trying it for yourself.

In the event you 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:purchase a move and find it not to your taste, don't worry. You can sell your moves back to the shop to get some gears back. The only caveats to this are that you only get a portion of the gears you spent back, and you can't sell back items or chips. Peppermint can't just let you demo her stuff for free, after all.

4 Wowไ The Crowd With Varied Moves

The keys to getting high scores in levels, and all the tasty gears that come with them, are combos and damage avoidance. If you can rack up a really big combo in one fight, you'll do wonders for your total score at the end. However, there's a secondary element to combo building you should be conscious of.

If you use the same combo multiple times in a row, you'll be slapped with a repeat penalty, reducing its score value by half. In order to optimize your combo score, you need to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:mix it up and use lots of different combos in sequence. You can use the same move twice in a fight as long as there are a few other moves in the middle. Encores are best saved for the eꦛnd of the show, you know.

3 🐬 Drag Foe🀅s Into The Air For Some Quality Time

While most of Chai's attacks are ground-based, he actually does some of his best work in the air. If you can drag an enemy into the air with a launcher attack, such as the light rest combo, you can wail on them exclusively for a good long time. This is especially helpful for sturdier foes with stun bars, as they won't be able to get their footing again until they're on solid ground.

More importantly, though, when you drag an enemy into the air, it becomes much more difficult for other enemies to follow and menace you. Only a handful of enemy types can jump, let alone hit airborne targets, so you don't need to worry as much about dodging or parrying and wrecking a perfectly good combo.

2 🍎 Fill Your Health, Then Your Tank 🔜

Whether you purchase a full one from the shop or assemble one from scattered parts, Health Tanks can be used to restore Chai's health in the event he gets knocked out. In order to fill a Health Tank, though, you need to pick up energy drinks while Chai's health is already full.

The tricky thing here is that in the event you heal more than Chai's current max health, the Health Tank does not get the excess. It only fills when Chai's health is maxed out. Ergo, if Chai's health is nearly full, try to top it off with smaller energy drinks from the green crates. That way, if you stumble upon a big heal or get a bunch of small ones from a combat encounter, it can all go into the Tank.

1 Return To💧 The Hideou🤡t After A Checkpoint

Do you really want to buy something from the shop but either can't access it at the moment or don't have enough gears? There's a little loophole for that. Whenever you see the autosave icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen, you can exit the game, then hit continue. Instead of returning to the level, you'll return to the Hideout, where you can access the shop immediately or redeem rewards from the mural for a quick gear payout. Afterward, just sit on the couch to return to your level checkpoint.

Additionally, in the event you're trying to perform a no-hit or no-continue run or something similar, you can instantly reload a checkpoint by fiddling with the game's settings. The easiest one is the Streamer Mode toggle in the general settings. If you toggle that, the game will reload from the last autosave. If, say, you're actually streaming, you can just toggle it again once you reload. It takes an extra loading screen, but hey, your no-hit status is preserved.
