In my humble opinion, I believe that the Assassin’s Creed series contains some of the most entertaining, engaging, and well written sandbox style video games that have been created in the modern era of gaming. Though I will admit to having a respectful distaste for the bizarre sci-fi aspects of the seriꩲes, I firmly believe that the parts of the plot which occur in the specified/game specific past locations and world are the absolute bees knees. Is there anyway that I could acquire a copy of these games that don’t in꧑clude those dull and extensive modern day sections of gameplay? But I digress.

Each and every single one of the games in this series is simply decked out to the nines with expansive worlds, trillions of collectibles and achievements, and so many other features and interactions unique to the series. And that is only considering the aspects of the games which relate to the main plot. The worlds in which the games occur are absolutely brimming with easter eggs, hidden objects, and secret worlds just begging to be explored. I would like to think that the developers get a little notification every single time a player uncovered some deeply buried secret or hidden object within the game but that might just be wishful thinking. I just wa💛nt to make sure that their effort and hard work does not go unnoticed. So, without further ado, allow me to shed a little light on some of these thoroughly entertaining features that have remained hidden within the series.

25 🦹𒈔 Speak In Nothing But Pirate Clichés

Via Instant Gaming

Look, if you’re going to play as a pirate you have to commit. This is one thing that you simply cannot phone it. If you decide to makes a game surrounding piracy then there better be an option to become the most stereotypical and over the top pirate the world has ever seen this side of Disney. Luckily, Black Flag has a function built into the game which will allow players to become the over the top pirate of their dreams. If a player completes 10 Abstergo Challe♚nges, they will be able🀅 to force Edward to speak in nothing but over the top pirate cliches.

Via Den of Geek

Here is a question for all you nerds and self proclaimed geeks out there: if a game contains no easter eggs, meta references, or hidden inside jokes between players and developers at all, is it even a game? And the only thing better than cheeky little fandom references that you can smirk and shake your head at are easter eggs that bring the real world into the virtual one. In Unity, the protagonist stumbles across two brothers named Victor and Hugo. This is a reference to the author of the novel Les Miserables, named Victor Hugo. Ten points for cleverness.

23 Hunt D⛄own La Volpe's Bite

Via Gamesplanet

Okay, I will admit that I was originally drawn to this secret weapon from Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood due to its completely wicked name. I mean, come on. “La Volpe’s Bite” is one of the coolest names for a sword that I have ever seen. The best thing about this game is that it is absolutely brimming with secret, hidden, and specialized ✤weapons for the players to find and equip. This particularly rad sword can be obtained by reached the third tier rank in the Thieves Guild challenge.

22 🅷 Discover The Assassin's Tombs

Via Ocean of Games

The best part of any sandbox game is the exploration. In all honesty, games that don’t let you explore freely lose major points in my books. I need my virtual freedom, thank you very much. And the best part of the Assassin’s Creed series is that their worlds are absolutely filled with places simply brimming with treasure and collectibles for you to explore outside of the games story/plot entirely. In the first game in the ser💞ies, players can explore six unique Assassin’s Tombs which have been decked out with the finest relics throughout hisꦦtory. These tombs can be found in Florence, Venice, San Gimignano, and Forli.

Flaming arrows are one of the coolest items you can equip in just about any game. I mean, come on. They are flaming arrows. Few things can beat the raw power behind that tool. But gathering the equipment needed to create those buggers can be exceptionally irritating. But Assassin’s Creed: Origins 🧔makes things a little bit easier for its🐎 players. In this game, you can light your arrows with that torch that you always seem to be carrying around. That’s right. Instant flaming arrows with equipment you already have on you. What could be better than that?

20 🌟 Turn The People Against Ea🤪ch Other

Via Polygon

The only thing better than saving all of the citizens from imminent danger is to become that danger yourself. In Revelations, certain cheats allow players to control the NPC’s of the world as if they were some horrifying deity. Completing different challenges will unlock different ways of controlling the people of the sandbox world. Completing the Romani challenges wilꦺl cause the Romani people to poison the guards, which will keep them off of your tail. Completing the thief challenges will cause thieves to pickpocket money for you. And completing the mercenary challenges will cause them to stop the beggars of the world.

Via Game

Stone circles, both virtual and real, have captivated, mystified, and confused humans (again, both real and virtual) for thousands of years. If you feel as though you’ve been missing out on all of the stone circle hullabaloo, then sit tight because I am going to let you in on a little insider information regarding the stone circles in Assassin’s Creed: Origins. Siwa, Isolated Desert (x2,) Iment Nome (x2,) White Desert Oasis, Ka-Khem Nome, Uma Nome (x2,) Quattara Depression, and Faiyum (x2.)

18 Hidden Things In Whitechapel 🌊

Via Gamesplanet

If you ever get your hands on a copy of Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, do not skip out on Whitechapel. That district is absolutely brimming with hidden objects and collectibles. Seriously. The majority of the hidden objects which are scattered throughout the game will be found in this are of the map. Pressed flowers, elusive illustrations, and the fandom favourite vintage bottles can be found in abundance in this area of the map. So grab your finest coat (the one with the biggest pockets) and head on down to Whitechapel as s♈oon as virtually possible.

17 ෴Discover The Dagger Of Brutus

via: twitter.com

Look, the weapons that my character comes equipped with are fine and dandy. And the ones that I pick up from my enemies will do the trick. But, I don’t know if this is just me, but I crave something more. I want those hidden weapons. The secret ones that the rogue developers wrote into the code, hoping that someone would figure out how to get their virtual hands on. I want The Dagger of Brutus from Brotherhood. This dagger has 100% maxed stats and can dole out more damage than you’ve ever dreamed of. The only way to get tಞhis migh🌺ty beast into your hands is to complete each and every single one of the Romulus lairs.

16 ꧑ Never Run Out Of Loot

Via PCworld

When one is engaged in a life of piracy, one needs to be smart about their loot. It’s not like you could take out a loan at the bank. But treasure hunting can get boring, tedious, and even be lethal at times. But what if I were to tell you that there was a way to make the game provide you with unlimited loot? In Black Flag, players can board the Spanish and British ships which reside near Florida Island. But you better be on your toes because y𝓀ou only have roughly 45 seconds each before the ships sink. Once you’ve plundered that booty, fast travel back to Florida Island. The ships will regenerate, treasure and all, and you can continue rampaging them for all of eternity.
