We're afraid to inform you that you can't actually acquire the dog, Cerberus. However, you can acquire a rifle by the same name.
It might not be your main goal to obtain one of the most highly regarded assault rifles in the game, but if you so choose to, it's a bit of a hassle. You can't get it until late in the game and, to do so, you must visit Fort Vaullerey.
If you're all about that appendage-breaking life, Cerberus has the highest Breakpoint and can also be used in long-range attacks which is a huge selling point for this bad boy. It's worth noting it can only be equipped by Noctis.
11 𝕴 Well-Hidden Armor
The Chobham Armor can be a great asset in heavy combat and, even if you've found the Saxham Outpost in Duscae, you might not know how to reach it. The armor increases your defense drastically and is an excellent bulletproof option.
The glitchy trick is simple, really -- find the low-lying crate beneath the awning where the armor is hidden and keep moving slowly until you're able to select it. It's a simple task for an excellent item.
10 ꦫ How To Avoid Pesky Daemons
The annoyance of daemons popping out of nowhere at night is something that can be avoided, believe it or not. The trick to this is more glitchy than an actual trᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚick and could probably be easily figured out.
However, if you haven't and daemons are the bane of your existence, try this out: the second you see daemons emerging, turn that bad boy of a car around until you're within safe viewing distance. Have Noctis exit the car, then get back in as soon as you get out, and t🎐he cut scene is over. Continue driving in peac🐭e.
9 ꦆ The Secret Of Pitioss 💯
This secret puzzle dungeon is the hardest in the entire game. You can only hit up the Pitioss dungeon once you've actually beaten the game.
Once you've completed the underground obstacle, you'll obtain the Black Hood for Noctis, which allows for automatic attack-dodging. If you've still been struggling with Final Fantasy 15's dodge technique, you'll be happy to wield this. But even if it's second nature by now, it sure is sweet not to need to bother anymore going forward.
8 ꦇ The Islet For Great Fishing
This excellent fishing spot at Vesperpool is considered "secret," but as we're all well aware of here at TheGamer, nothing is ever truly sec🍒retive when the hardcore fans are on the clock.
For fishing lovers who haven't made it here yet, check out this spot on your Chocobo, since that's the only way you can actually access it. You'll find it on the northwestern coast, and there's even a merchant on the dock there! Square Enix made your life pretty easy with this♉ one.
7 🧔 The Black Chocobo 🙈
If you want to go on a wild goose -- er, Chocobo -- chase, then by all means, give it a go. It's your game, so have at it. Obtaining the Black Chocobo for gamers is like a hot rod racing fan obtaining a brand-new babe of a car.
Completing the 'Saviors of the Species' quest, which pops up once you've run the gamut on Wiz's trading post quest, will bring about the birth of an adorable black-tinted Chocobo chick. If you want to ride one yourself, however, you'll need to recolor your own trusted steed.

Final Fantasy 15 had two limited-time events: the Moogle Chocobo Carnival and an Assassin's Creed collaboration called the Assassin's Festival. The former ran through much of 2017, while the latter began in August 2017 and carried over into early 2018. Unlike the game's Final Fantasy 14 and Terra Wars collaborative quests, these are entirely erased, unavailable for download to anyone who didn't play the game at a set point in time.
This is a real bummer, so hopefully one 🎃day there will be a way to access these exclusive items and enjoy some fairly entertaining character interactions. At least you can find those on YouT🐲ube, we guess.

You can summon him by name in the actual game because your data will carry over. This uniquely personal summon🧔 is a nice added touch that many players will miss entirely.
