Halo is one of the best video game series out there. Am I just saying that because it was one of the first games I ever picked up when I was just a kid? Yes, yes I am. Does it matter? No, no it does not. For anyone who is a fan of first-person shooters, it is easy to see why Halo is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the best franchises out there. Not only has its futuristic combat been performed seamlessly on our home consoles, Halo did what n♑ot many of those realistic shooter games out there could. It gave us a whole new world to discover.
Halo gives us a world where an ancient race of beings, known as the Forerunners, built magnificent galactic constructs, most notably the titular Halo rings. S꧒o even though space-traveling humans are late to the party, they get to 🦂visit and experience these large splendors. And we as gamers get to explore these places alongside them. (We explore these places while riddling aliens with bullets, but that's neither here nor there.)
While exploring Halo's rich maps and futuristic locales, a few of us have stumbled upon some hidden secrets, Easter Eggs, epic weapons, or funny dialogue. It is a downright shame that some of these items are so well hidden that even the most ardent Halo fan might not be aware of their existence. If you consider yourself a Halo fan, I suggest you give this list a quick look. Read on if you want to discover some of Halo's best kept secrets.
25 M Is F🧔or...
A developer on the first Halo game, Halo: Combat Evolved placed a hidden message to his girlfriend in the form of her first name's initial. Y𓂃ou can find this Easter Egg on the first mission in the game wh꧃ile you're on the Pillar of Autumn.
If you go on a rampage while on the bridge, Cortana will send in a group of elite marines to take the Chief out. If you survive their assault, rush into the secret room they came from, and look at a certain wall, you will find the letter "M" made with bullet holes. That, my dear readers, is the Megg.
24 Way To Plan Ahead 🍰
Bungie developers sure knew how to plan ahead for the future. While roaming the quiet city of New Mombasa in Halo: ODST, you can come a🐼cross posters that say "Destiny Awaits."
Originally, I just thought that these posters were supposed to be mere propaganda encouraging citizens to join a space program. Now, it's easy to see what these "Destiny" posters are really foretelling. Bungie developers were giving us a sneak peek at an all-new game that was barely in the works.
23 Entering Ha♊lsey's Office Ahead oOf Sc🔴hedule
One of the final missions of Halo: Reach is to retrieve Cortana from Dr. 𓂃Catherine Halsey's underground lab on the planet Reach. If you're feeling a bit impatient with waiting around for her to open the door for you, you can open a side door for yourself.
It takes a bit of finagling, and you definitely need to be playing the campaign with a buddy, but once you press a hidden button to unlock the door, you can see Halsey's office with a bunch of Halo references strewn across several computer screens.
22 From Clueless Gaming🐎 To Clueless Cameos
I love watching Conan O'Brien's gaming segment on his television show where he ineptly attempts to play video games. In Halo 4, we got to see Conan on the other side of the screen. He and his co-worker Andy Richter lent their voices to two hapless marines standing about in the vehicle bay of the UNSC Infinity.
Before Master Chief and Cortana return to the Forerunner planet of Requiem by themselves, if you linger on Infinity, you can find the two of the🍎m hanging around by some cargo crates, talking to each other.
21 Pure Poetry 🌊 🧸
This is perhaps not as hidden as most of the other secrets on this list, but it is one of my most favorite. Halo 5: Guardians gave us certain leve⛄ls where th🦩ere was no fighting or shooting to be had. Instead, we were allowed to wander in a specific area.
In one of these areas on the Elite homeworld of Sanghelios, we can find an Elite standing to the side, talking to himself. If you step closer, you can hear his dialogue, which is him reciting a love poem about Spartan Sarah Palmer. Music to my ears.
20 Th🦹e King🐲 Of Easter Eggs
There is a hidden achievement you can unlock in the last level of Halo: Combat Evolved. While you're doing that last dash in the Warthog on the Pillar of Autumn, if you decide to ignore the ticking clock that's screaming at you൩ to get off the Autumn before she explodes, you can take a quick detour to a hidden room with the word "Rex" written in blood on the walls.
If you find the room and stare at the walls for a few seconds, you will unlock the T. Rex achievement.
19 Hi Ben
Halo 2 really amped up the music that the first Halo game gave to us. Electric guitars thrilled me to the core of my being when I played Halo 2, and I felt like giving a huge thanks to the musicians who contributed to the soundtrack. Apparently, the developers of Halo 2 shared my appreciation.
There is a hidden message to the band Breaking Benjamin on the Halo 2 mission called "Regret." If you zoom in on a corner of one of the ziggurats, you can see the words, "Hi Ben," forever stamped on the brickwork.
18 🎶 Go Reach Racer, Go!
Who doesn't want to participate in a small race while in the middle of a campaign mission? While playing Halo: Reach, you and ♛a friend can unlock a small racing game during the level "ONI: Sword Base."
You have to find two hidden switches in order to activate the game.
Just be ca🌠reful when you do. You're given two Warthogs to race around on a track with. It's all fun and games until the race is over. Whoever comes in second has to deal with an exploding Warth♈og.
17 Gravity Grunt 🐲
Normally, when I start up a game, I do not linger long on the title screen. I'm far too eager to start the actual game than to sit around and appreciate the menu. However, for Halo 5: Guardians, I highly recommend that you do.
If you wait around with the menu up, showing the vastness of space with the UNSC Infinity in the background, a surprising figure will appear. A little Grunt will come floating up from out of nowhere. This guy will jabber to himself in dismay, and then eventually ꦑgravitate off t💞he screen.
16 𒀰 The Golden Hand Grenade
As most gamers know, one of the ways to show that you are a pro gamer is to have all of your personal, in-game items colored pure gold. In Halo 4, you have an opportunity to get yourself a golden grenade. However, this little treas꧋ure has proven to be a bit of a mystery.
On the mission level called The Composer, in the area where the Master Chief rescues some scientists, you can find a golden grenade. However, don't rely on it being there all t🍒he time. On a second play✅through, it might be gone.
