Oftentimes there’s plenty that we overlook while p🃏laying a game. These are the small details that seem to come together nicely and bring the immersion i🐻n a game to a whole new level. Looking for hidden details is the best thing in a video game, whether it’s looking for Easter eggs or that new super weapon that’s going to absolutely destroy in PVP.
It’s one of those nice features hidden inside a game, and it's often theღ difference between a fantastic game that will last for hours and the dull game that takes about five minutes to find all of the collectibles. You might be adventuring into an unknown part of the wasteland and find yourself laughing out loud because you saw a skeleton sitting on a beach chair wearing sunglasses holding a long since c🍰old drink.
The Fallout series is no different, hiding secrets within their games. Whether it’s a computer monitor with a funny bit of dialogue about coworkers hating each other or the sadder picture of walking into a room and seeing a simple skeleton holding a teddy bear near it, these are those hidden details that bring it life. Some of the more satisfying moments might involve finding a hidden weapon that is going to show that punk twelve-year-old who raided your base with his friends in Fallout 76. You’ll find yourself getting lost almost in this immensely rich world. Here’s a deeper look into those things tucked away in the dangerous wasteland of Fallout 76.
25 📖 The Mothman
The Mothman is a neat little encounter you can find out in the wasteland. It’s so famous, in fact, that there is an entire cult dedicated to the creaღture. This is one of the many cryptids that are in the game.
The Mothman can be found 🅘in the Point Pleasant area, and after collecting bioluminescence fluid from fireflies at the lighthouse, it will appear as a wise Mothman. If the player interacts with the beast, it will reward them with a five percent experience boost.
24 ♎ Honey Beast
The cr𒅌eature that is made out of pure nightmares can be found in Fallout's Appalachia. Why would you ever want to find the Honey Beast is beyond me, though. It’s a giant mutated honeybee, with hone🐠y oozing out of its body.
There are different variants of the Honey Beast: the reg💦ular Honey Beast, Scorched Honey Beast, and the Glowing Honey Beast. Fight it if you must, but don’t scream too much when this thing sneaks up on you at night.
23 Treas💖ure Maps
A new addition to the Fallout series is treasure maps. These can be found all throughout the game. There have been a total of around eleven treasure𒉰 maps found so far in-game, with more maps for different locations still being discovered.
These maps consist of a crude drawing of a location and a vague area where to start looking for the land🌼mark. If you have bad luck and can’t seem to find any maps, be sure to look in dungeons.
22 🌌 ও Brotherhood Of Steel
Hardcore fans of the series will be happy to see the Brotherhood of Steel make an appearance, even if in the game's canonical lore they haven’t been founded yet. Fallout 76 takܫes place in 2102, while the B.O.S💫. wasn’t founded until 2150.
With that being said, you can still join them as a faction. To do so, head to Abbie’s b🔜unker in the north side of the Mire. Getting there you should be about level 20, but once inside the bunker you will be on your way to joining the B.O.S.
21 Snal♓lygaster
A Snallygaster is a spooky beastಞ with two legs and a creepy face. It has a tentacle-like tongue that attacks anyone who thinks fighting an abomination is a good idea. The Snallygaster is another cryptid that can be found in-game and is the result of a failed forced evolution experiment.
They can be found in highly irradiated areas in small packs. And really, the only thing worse than one of these cre💖atures is a small pack of them.
20 Alie🧜n Blaster
This is a rare weapon that can be found to the west of Philippi Battlefield Cemetery and southeast of the Black Mountain Ordnance Works. ♑A highly powerful weapon from aliens, this is a must-get weapon if you can brave the wasteland to try and find it.
The downside of the alien blaster is that ammo for it can be hard to find, but there are blueprints to convert it to use fus🅠ion cells instead. Once you do that, there's no going back, though.
19 ✃ The Perfect Storm
This 10mm submachine gun is a reward for completing the Cold Case questꦇ, and it’s worth the effort. It fires incendiary rounds, which deal an extra 24 burning damage over three seconds. This is one of the legendary weapons that 🙈can be earned in the wasteland.
Solving the case of the missing boy can be somewhat tedious, but the end reward is well worth the 🍸effort. To start the cold case quest you have to find Miss Annie; she’s at Wavy Willard’s Water Park.
18 Factions
There are a total of eight different factions that are available to join in Fallout 76: the Bro🦩therhood of Steel, Charleston Emergency Government, Cult of the Mothman, the Enclave, Free States, Ord✃er of Mysteries, Raiders, and the Responders.
Sadly, there are no human survivors left in these factions beca🏅use of the scorch plague; only the robot members and the robot vendors survived. There are still plenty of quests to be given out and faction oriented loot to be earned, though, so don’t worry.
17 ൲ The Dragon
This is an extremely hard-hitting, four-barreled black powered rifle that deals 200 damage per barrel. Making a staggering total of 800 damage if all four shots connect, making it another amazing legendary weapon in Fallout 76.
This rifle can either be found as a random drop at Moundsville Penetari🌞ty and The Ash Heap or by buying it from Grahm. Considering the amount of damage this rifle can deal, it’s wor꧙th picking up if you do find it. It's good to have on your side.
16 🦹 Flatwoods Monster
These strange extraterrestrial beings can be found in, you guessed it, Flatwoods. It can also appear alongside the Mothman. The Flatwoods monster is interesting because it will teleport around while fighting, as well as simply disappear in a bright white🗹 light.
The Flatwoods Monster🦂 is one of many cryptids found within the game. When ended, they will drop many valuable resources. They were first spotted in 1952 in West Virginia by three boys who were investigating a strange light in the sky.
