With Death Stranding set to♑ drop in a few days, Kojima met up with for an interview following his appearance at the Cologne Film Festival, an event during whi🌠ch he held a panel with Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn.
The interview spanned the developer's personal life, aꦆs well as what it's like creating videogames for a living.
Kojima also spoke about his future, revealing that he'd still like to work on horror games somewhere down the line. Konami's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:P.T. serves as one of the best examples of what the 56-year-old is capable of but Death Stranding will be the focus for now, plus there are a few other projec🍬ts already ongoing at Kojima Productions.
Questioned on the possibility of a new horror game and the cancelation of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Silent Hill, Kojima revealed that he still wants to create another game from said genre and already has s🅺ome ideas 𝓰for one.
"Yes I want to do a horror game one day," he remarked. "Yes, of course. Because I have some new ideas that I could kind of get out there,𓄧 but I don't know when."
Kojima is of the view that horror games are more interactive than movies and, while the tw🎶o categories have t🔥raded characters before, he believes that gaming is a unique platform for embellishing terror.
The dev꧒ says he wants to revolutionize the horror genre and make a game so scary, he won't mind if players leave it unfinished simply because it's too scary or they actually get to the end and find the bigge🎀st scare waiting just ahead of the credits.
He's apparently keen on ꦇgetting into the filmmaking business too, even amid the aforementioned notion, and has indicated that his company plans to move into the industry in future.
Meanwhile, Death Stranding will release for PlayStation 4 on November 8.♛ It is also expected to become a🎐vailable for PC sometime during the summer of 2020.
