The Envy Contention is the sixth DLC in the Seven Deadly Sins Collection for Hitman 3. Much like many of the seasonal escalations before it, this mission has three escalation levels. What makes this one unique, is Agent 47 is not the only assassin on this contract.
At each escalation level, you will have to eliminate your target before your rival does to achieve a higher score. Some of the targets even have optional kill conditions that must be carried out to unlock difficult challenges. What makes matters worse, two of the hardest challenges for this contract require that you achieve a Silent Assassin rating, and one requires you do the same, but without changing your disguise.
If you are ever unsure if you are still achieving the Silent Assassin rating on any given run, go into your HUD settings and turn on the Silent Assassin indicator. As long as it stays green, you're still good to go. This guide will show you how to complete the Envy Contention escalation and unlock all associated challenges in the Season of Envy.
Escalation Level One

This contract has you and your rival begin the mission near the valet on the Mendoza map. The first thing you'll want to do is head right and down the cliff toward the vineyard. Drop down and knock out the guard from the tall grass/flowers, then make your way toward the production room, being mindful of the patrolling gauchos.
Once you see the crates on the exterior of the building, climb up and use your camera to open the hatch. Drop down and head to your right to grab a screwdriver. Walk out thro൲ugh the la🌟rge doorway and head left behind the guard to avoid detection.
Target One - Hector Delgado
Run up the stairs and through the double doors into the atrium. Head up the stairs to your right and look for the light fixture in the grass. Use your screwdr🤪iver to sabotage it, then wait by the water faucet for your target. Once he lights his cigarette, turn on the water.
The Escape
Head back through the party to the valet area and exit the level by sitting do🦄wn in 𝓀the chair.
Completing level one of this escalation will unlock the first two variations of The Envy Contention challenges, as well as The Odium Suit, the Jaeger 7 Green Eye sniper rifle, and The Cat's Claw knife.

Stand up and grab the Cat's Claw knife from the statue, then grab the invitation next to the smoking man near the round planter box. Make your way to the🍃 greeter, show him your invita▨tion, then run into the main atrium. Grab a wine bottle, then run to the right around the atrium until you reach the stairs heading down toward the production level.
Target One - Derek McInnis
Go down the stairs, hang a left near the talking workers, then run toward the stairwell on the far side. Go down the stairs then hop the railing. As the worker is walking out from behind the corner, throw the wine bottle at her head to knock her out. Then quickly get your knife out and get ready to throw it at your target when he stands up.
Now quickly run back under and behind where you hopped the railing, and pull the worker over the large pipe and knock him out. You'll now want to make your way back to the first worker you knocked out and drag her body around the near side of the larger crusher. You will want to hide her body, as well as your target's body in the shadows of the crusher before moving on.
Run into the production room, then hang a right. Climb over the large pipe and knock out the worker. Shove his body in the nearby container, then grab the wrench off the nearby workbench (you'll need this later). Stand next to the large pipe and climb up and over the🍨 railing. Knock out the winery worker here and drag his body to the nearby 🔯container.
Target Two - Sister Lei
Hop over the railing opposite where you climbed up, and wait here for your target to approach. Wait until she's at the top of the stairs, then climb over the railing again and push her into the grape crusher.
Hop over the railing where you first climbed up and make your way back toward the fermentation room, but be careful of the patrolling winery worker in the middle of the room. Pass the cr꧒usher, go under the railing that you dropped down from, and pass the worker that you kno🐲cked out over the pipe. Climb the ladder, then go up the stairs and walk out the glass doors in front of you.
Run up the stairs outside the building hang a right and make your way to the table with hors d'oeuvres on it. Pick the flower nearby (it has emetic qualities) and make sure the nearby has her back to you before entering the double doors.
Wait for the waiter in here to walk away, then use the wrench you picked up earlier to repair the distillation kit, much like you had to do in Dartmoor to complete the Another Death In The Family redacted challenge. Add your emetic poison to it, and it will produce a lethal poison.
Target Three - Emma Carlisle
Take your lethal poison to the table and wait for the older gentleman with the white hair to finish snacking at the tab𝄹le, then poison the food when he walks away. Emma will take a bite and perish shorﷺtly thereafter.
The Escape
Make your way back to the chair you started the mission in, following th🃏e same path you did on Level One.
Completing this level of the contract won't unlock any new challenges, but if you've followed along to this point, you only need to do one more level to get several challenges at once.

First thing's first, grab the sniper rifle and conceal it in the briefcase that Envy has provided to you. Grab the invitation just like in Level Two and make your way through the atrium and out the double doors on the far side. Instead of heading up the stairs, take a left and use the shortcut door to make your way towards the Don Yates' villa.
Follow the path then stop before you reach the shrine (one of the starting locations for the main mission on Mendoza), and wait for the guard to look out over the railing with his back to you. Enter the shrine and grab the propane flask♉, then wait for the guard to leave and head back up the hill. Exit the shrine and walk up the upper pathway toward the villa.
Sneak past the gate, being mindful of the guard on the left, and use the lavender flowers as cover. Make your way toward the fountain where Don Yates typically has his meeting, and ♋wait in the lavender here.
Target One - Kharan Dhar
Look for a light fixture on the path to your right and get your sniper rifle out. Wait until no guards are within earshot, then shoot out the light. Put your rifle back in the briefcase, then wait for your target to approach. Once he gets close, turn on the nearby water faucet and wait until he moves to investigate, electrocuting himsel💞f in the process.
Target Two - Helen West
Climb over the wall and up toward the villa. Walk along the perimeter of the building until you see an open window. Climb inside and knock out your target. Drag her body close to the fireplace, then toss the propane f🐈lask into the fire to create an explosio🌳n. The guard outside the front door will come to investigate the noise, so wait to the left of the door until he runs into the room, then leave out the front door.
Carefully run across the driveway, hugging relatively close to the planter box with lavender (the waiters to your right are what you are trying to avoid here), and run past the two guards at the edge of the driveway and toward the party. As long as you are quick enough, they won't spot you since you are technically leaving a trespassing area.
Head down the stairs and into the doors where you used the distillation kit on Level Two, making sure not to get spotted by the wait staff. Grab one of the maps 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:many vials of Rat Poison in front of you, and exit the doors.
Target Three - Maxwell Rutter
Hang a right and ⛦go down the stairs toward the dance floor. Head left and run towaওrds where your target is hanging out. You should be looking for the table at the furthest end of where the guests mingle because he has a drink on it that he occasionally sips from. Poison the drink with the rat poison.
Now, you will want to quickly get into position to shoot your target while he is throwing up. Turn left and go into the atrium, heading toward the stairs in front of you. Go upstairs and make your way to the balcony directly above where your target's drink is located.
Get situ🌃ated in the lavender in one of the planter boxes, and retrieve your sniper rifle. Stay out of sight of the other guests and wait for your target to head to another planter box down below. As long as you shoot him between the shoulders or in the head, he will flip ♔over the railing and his body will be hidden from view.
Final Target - The Rival
Now that you've proven you're a better assassin, you get to kill the Rival before he leaves the map. Thankfully, you are already in position from your last target. Turn around and look toward the sniper nest between the silos in the distance. You should see his shiny bald head up on the catwalk so put a bullet in it before he gets away.
The Escape
Make your way toward the exit🎉, just like both times b❀efore. Sit down in the chair to exit the mission.
Upon completion of this escalation level, you should have several challenges pop up, including Elusive Assassin, Exhaustive Assassin, Adequate Assassin, Pedantic Assassin, Unrivalled Assassin, and the last version of The Envy Contention.
