Even though fans wanted it to happen, we probably shouldn't be surprised that Hogwarts Legacy has missed out, especially after the year we've just had, in which quality titles were dropped almost every week. It just means that Hogwarts Legacy didn't make as much of a splash as fans like to believe it did, lacking the longevity and cultural impact of a game like Baldur's Gate 3 or Tears of the Kingdom. Yes, it sold well, but it was always going to sell well based on the brand alone.
