Tips & Abilities

Aurumaton Gatekeeper

  • Lightning
  • Wind
  • Quantum
  • Physical
  • Fire
  • Ice
  • Imaginary

This enemy will inflict hard Imaginary damage, with a chance of also applying the Imprisonment debuff to your party members, which can prove immensely annoyi🥃ng.

Frigid Prowler

  • Fire
  • Lightning
  • Quantum
  • Physical
  • Ice
  • Wind
  • Imaginary

The Frigid Prowler uses an array of Ice Da🎉mage moves that can inflict th🌳e Deep Freeze effect on your party, so you must be able to mitigate damage or remove debuffs to deal with it, as it will decrease your Speed.

The Frigid Prowler can also summon Everwinter Shadewalkers, which aren't difficult to defeat.

Ice Out of Space

  • Fire
  • Wind
  • Quantum
  • Physical
  • Ice
  • Lightning
  • Imaginary

This enemy will usually deal mi🐬nor amounts of Ice Damage, nothing out of the ordinary. However, it can use a technique called Frosty Absorption to enter a Freezing Point state that will allow it to hit you with Everwinter Rain, an attack that will deal Ice Damage 🐭to the whole party.

Decaying Shadow

  • Fire
  • Lightning
  • Wind
  • Physical
  • Ice
  • Quantum
  • Imaginary

The Decaying Shadow has several attacks that will deal Imaginary Damage to your party members, but one of her most annoying techniques is not one of her offensive ones. Fleeting Veil, an ability that can annoyingly increase the length of the battle by mitigating damage, also has the possibility of imprisoning one of your characters.

When it uses Binding of the Golden Age, it will gain nine Gauge Recollection stacks before casting Liberation of the Golden Age the next turn. It will lose one stack per successful attack against it, and the resulting damage will depend on the number of stacks in its possession.

Cocolia's fight will have three very different phases, and depending how you act throughout them will determine the outcome. During the first fight, she won't do much other than summon one or two Ice Edges, and while they don't seem too strong, you must take care of those as fast as possible, since she will use an action immediately once the phase ends and she could easily kill a member of your party if the ice edges add damage on top of hers.

Something worth noting is that she will also apply the Freeze debuff a lot, so keep t🎐hat in mind and bring a debuff remover if you can.

Now, for the second phase, she will employ the aid of her daughter Bronya. It is very important you dispatch her as soon as you can since she will constantly boost Cocolia's attack and speed, which can prove brutal or even mortal if she survives up to the next phase, and also enable Cocolia to use a massive attack called Punishment of Endless Winter.

Always focus on Bronya until she falls in defeat, and then go for Cocolia until the se🧸cond HP bar depletes.

For the final phase, it will be a powered-up version of the first one, so make sure you destroy any Ice Edge that spawns as soon as possible, mitigate or heal as often as needed, and keep removing any debuffs from your party. Slowly but surely🐼 you should be able to defeat Cꦰocolia once and for all.

World 6 Success screen in Honkai: Star Rail.

Given Cocolia's weaknesses and resistances, you want to focus on Quantum, Lightning, and Fire units that can form a well-balanced team. Some great DPS options for your team are Seele and Jing Yuan, both of which can inflict massive damage, accompanied by solid supports that boost speed or damage like Asta and Tingyun, and defensive/healing units like the Trailblazer of Preservation and Bailu.

On the Path side, whatever you choose will fully depend on what your team composition is. If you want to kill Cocolia as fast as possible you could invest in a very aggressive DPS team and go for the Path Of The Hunt, ensuring you hit her many times with fast units like Seele before she can even begin.

If you want a more safe experience, going for the Path of Abundance will never fail as long as you have a balanced party with enough DPS units, a healer, or a tank that can withstand or mitigate enough damage to slowly burn Cocolia's HP down. And last, if you want to play this fight with a defensive angle, you want to prioritize the Trailblazer of the Preservation Path as a tank, while supporting him with the many defensive buffs the Path of Preservation has to offer.
