If you're looking for endgame content in a gacha game, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Honkai: Star Rail's Swarm Disaster release in the Simulated Universe is perfect for you. The new mode is separated fro🌞m the various worlds in this Universe and it essentially works as a game mode of its own when youℱ play it.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to take part in this mode until your characters are built properly since this is likely one of the hardest contents you'll ever see in the game. Here's everything you need to know about it once you unlock the Swarm Disaster.
How To Unlock Swarm Disaster
You'll first enter the Simulated Universe during the main story of Herta Space Station in Honkai: Star Rail where Herta will ask you to go through a beta test. Once you finish two of these tests, the entire universe will unlock for you and you'll be able to see a ton of worlds on the main screen with the Swarm Disaster at the bottom left.
If you want to take part in this, you'll first have to successfully clear the fifth world of Sim𝕴ulated Universe at any difficulty. As soon as you fulfill this requirement, you can talk to Herta and embark on your journey to learn everything about the S🌞warm Disaster.
Swarm Disaster Path Resonance Guide
If you've played Simulated Universe for a little while, you might already be familiar with the Path system in it. Whenever you defeat enemies or get past certain Occurrence or Transaction domains, you can get various Blessings belonging to different Paths. You can also choose a Path at the beginning,♍ which increases your chances of getting its Blessings.
If you get a certain number of Blessings from a chosen Path, you can trigger special buffs using the Path Resonance system.
Swarm Disaster takes this Path system to a new level through the Resonance Interplay. Apart from the main path, if you get three Blessings from another certain path (changes depending on the chosen Path), you can trigger Resonance Interplay. This gives your m🙈ain Path Resonance a buff depending🌞 on the Interplay triggered.
You can find the Resonance Interplay for each path in the selection screen by clicking on it. Apart from that, each Path in Swarm Disaster also comes with five or six Audience Dice rolls. These are used at the end of every room through the Communing Device. You ♔can randomly get one of these Dice Effects every time you interact with the Commuꦐning Device.
There are eight paths in Simulated Universe Swarm Disaster, but only a few of them are unlocked at the start. You'll have to fulfill the following requirements to unlock the other Paths:
Path Name |
Unlock Requirement |
Preservation |
Unlocks after gaining a total of 1,000 Cosmic Fragments. |
Remembrance |
Unlocks after tutorial |
Nihility |
Unlocks after a challenge is interrupted in one of your runs. |
Abundance |
Unlocks after triggering Planar Disarray once in the Swarm Disaster (more on this below). |
The Hunt |
Unlocks after tutorial |
Destruction |
Unlocks after tutorial |
Elation |
Unlocks after you've unlocked any other six paths (most lik🌊ely the six other than Propagation and Elation). |
Propagation (NEW) |
Unlocks after getting all the chapters in the main Swarm Disaster menu. This is essentially the last Path you'll unlock after fully completing Swarm Disaster. |
You can still trigger Resonance Interplay with Paths that you don't have unlocked yet.
How Swarm Disaster Works
Now that you know how the path system works in Swarm Disaster, it's time to dive into the general gameplay. The first thing you need to know is that every run of Swarm Disaster is divided into three planes: Wingflap, Waves, and Fading. Each⭕ plane contains multiple rooms that can have different effecཧts.
You can check all these effects and room symbols by clicking on the question mark at the bottom right when you're entering a plane. However, here's what you'll find in the new rooms that can only be seen in Swarm Disaster:
Room Name |
Description |
Reward |
This is essentially another Occurrence domain, except you'll only get positive ones here that give you some sort of reward. |
Adventure |
This room features a minigame. You can get various chests containing Curios, Blessings, and Cosmic Fragments depending on your success. |
Combat: Swarm |
You'll be fighting various smaller Sting enemies in these domains and get Propagation Blessings in return. |
Occurrence: Swarm |
Same as other Occurrence domains except you can get exclusive Swarm Disaster Blessings here. |
Boss: Swarm |
This is the final room in every Swarm Disaster run where you'll be fighting the True Sting boss with its three phases. |
Other than these new rooms, you can also find a special effect on some rooms randomly. This effect is called Beacons, and you can find them on the bottom right side of the room symbol. Enemies in the B♑eacon room are enhanced in a certain way dependi📖ng on the type of Beacon, but you also get extra rewards for beating it.
At the end of each plane of Swarm Disaster, you'll have to duke it out with an Elite except for the final plane where you fight True Sting. For the first difficulty, these Elites will be randomized from the normal Elites you can encounter 🐼in the normal Simulated Universe. However, things change from the second difficulty.
You'll start encountering the final bosses from other worlds like Cocolia or Svarog as Elites in the second difficulty.
This is the hardest part of a Swarm Disaster since you don't have your Blessings built up that early.
You will also be able to choose which Elite you want to fight in the first two planes, and each one of them comes with a special boost. This boost can either be a new permanent Weakness on the enemies or a buff to one of the combat mechanics. Apart from that, you also have to keep an eye on the top left side of your screen when you're on a plane.
This screen will show a countdown, and Planar Disarray triggers when this countdown reaches zero. Planar Disarray is a requirement for unlocking certain paths and some tasks, but it also buffs the final True Sting enemy. The buffs provid𒅌ed by this eff🐲ect can be different based on the level of Disarray.
Swarm Disaster Rewards
Much like other Simulated Universe rewards apart from the weekly reset, all the rewards you can get in the Swarm Disaster mode are one-time. You can get rewards from clearing a certain difficulty for the first time, cle🔴aring certain tasks, and unlocking various chapters in the lore of this mode.
Chapter rewards are the main focus since you can get up to 1,300 Jades here. However, the requirements to get these chapter rewards aren't easy. You'll first have to head over to the Trail of Pathstrider area in the Communing Trail and check out the challenges on the blue structures there. You'll get some points for a certain path whenever you complete a challenge.
These points can be seen on the challenge itself, but you can also find your cumulative points in the Communing Trail section.
You can also𒈔 get 20 extra Jades whenever you finish a challenge in Trail of Pathstrider.
When you head back to the Chapter rewards, you'll see that you have to clear a certain plane on a certain difficulty with a certain number of Points in a Path to get the rewards. Other than all these rewards, you can also get pl🤪enty of Jades from the Index area for getting Swarm Disaster-exclusive Curios and Occurrences.
Tips For Beating Swarm Disaster
Here are a few tips that'll help you achieve success during your runs of the Swarm Universe:
- Don't bank too hard on Respite domains. Swarm Disaster has various mechanics that can change your future domains at any point. It's recommended to save your Technique Points and health as much as possible.
- Some Respite domains can feature both Screwllum and Herta with their own shop. Instead of getting Blessing Enhancements, these shops will contain Curios and Blessings that you can buy using Cosmic Fragments.
- Pay attention to your path in various planes. If you don't have a task to trigger Planar Disarray, it's highly recommended to avoid it since this makes the final True Sting boss monumentally harder.
- The Propagation path and Swarm Disaster overall heavily favor Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae and Qingque's play style, so it's recommended to build those characters if you can.
