We already knew we were going to see more Horizon Call 🐻of the Mountain tonight, but we didn't realise just how much we were in store for. The new trailer for the game showed off first-person robot dino😼saur combat as well as some slick looking climbing and traversal. Here's a full breakdown of what we know now.
The game definitely isn't on rails like the first trailer suggested. A large robot knocks the canoe over and sends you into the river. We get a glimpse of ♒our protagonist climbing out of the water and then pushing some foliage aside with their VR hands.
There's then a lot of clips showing off an impressive new world and intense dinosaur combat. We see the player fighting what looks like a thin mouthed version o🤡f the crocodile Snapjaw, as well as the terrifying Thunderjaw, which looks ridiculously imposing in VR.
Don't worry, you won't have to fight off the robot menace with your bare (VR) hands. We saw the player using a bow and arrow, now a staple of the🧸 Horizon series, and a smaller crossbow-looking device.
It was a♊lso announced that an update for Horizon Forbidden West is live now. It features New Game plus as well as a host of fixes and improvemen♒ts.
