While exploring the Forbidden West, you will come across wreckages of planes scattered in rubble and debris. Within these wrecks are Black Boxes, one of the collectibles in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Horizon Forbidden Westඣ🅰. They hold recordings of the final moments of humanity, and can be discovered as you explore the map.
However, some will only be accessible with tools you unlock later on in the game, and the quest for the Black Boxes will be given by someone later on too. Here's where you can find every Black Box, how to get it, and what you can do with them.

Black Box: No Man's Land
The first Black Box will be southwest of Barren Light, and you'll likely come across it as you travel to the first story mission in the Forbidden West. The wreck is on top of one of the rock formations and can be climbed to.
Scan to locate the signal - which Aloy might point out when you get near - and make your way to the wreckage in order to grab the Black Box for No Man's Land.
Black Box: The Whitewatch Peaks
The next Black Box is located just southwest of Plainsong, and will require a little more climbing to reach. On the map you will be able to see a small patch of grass in the snow - this is where you're headed.
Once in this little grove in the mountains, you'll see a plane wreckage hanging down the northern cliff face. At the bottom of the cliff will be the Black Box for The Whitewatch Peaks.
Black Box: Jagged Deep
This Black Box can be found south of Cauldron MU and further south of Plainsong - the location shown on the map above. This wreckage is at the bottom of the lake, and you can pick up the signal by scanning when in ౠthe area.
This Black Box will only be accessible once you have the Dꦇiving Mask in order to breathe underwater - Aloy is unable to hold her 🅷breath to reach this one without it.
Dive into the water and make your way into the opening of the wreckage. You will find the Black Box for 𒊎Jagged Deep lying within.
Black Box: The Promontory
The next Black Box is east of Plainsong and up on the clif🍷fs. You will need to climb nearby in order to reach this one, where thꦺere will also be some machines roaming nearby.
For this Black Box, you will need to have the Vine Cutter to get past the Metal Flowers. This is not until later on, so you may need to come back to this w༺reckage.
You will fir♔st need to grab a nearby power cell to open the door - found by some debris to the east - and then clear the vines within the plane. Behind that, you will find the Black Box for The Promontory.
Black Box: Bleeding Mark
Northeast of Bleeding Mark and further northeast of Scalding Spear will be the next wreck, in𒀰 the mountains by the edge of the map - the specific location in the map above. Head there and you will spot the wreck in the snow, and scan for the nearby signal.
You will need to climb ♌or grapple up to the wreckꦛage in order to reach it, and then head beyond the door inside to pick up the Black Box for Bleeding Mark.
Black Box: The Stillsands
This Black Box can be found in the desert, northwest💃 of Hidden Ember. It will be next to the camp of a Salvage Contractor, so you can come across it as part of those quests.
This Black Box will also require the Vine Cutter🍷 to reach, so may be another one you need to come back to once you can get past Metal Flowers.
Clear the vines blocking the wreckage and climb inside. In the corner along with some🥃 piled-up sand will be the Black Box for The Stillsands.
Black Box: The Memorial Grove
At the crossroads at the entr🐲ance of the Memorial Grove, head south and across the river. You will see the mostly intact wrecౠkage lodged on a small cliff - scan to pinpoint the location of the Black Box.
Near the campfire here is a loose bit of debris acting as a ramp - grap❀ple up to the wing, climb over to the other side of the plane, and then grapple into the opening at the back. The Black Box for ꦅThe Memorial Grove is inside.
Black Box: Salt Bite
For the next Black Box, head to Salt Bite 🐈- the location included in one of the maps above. You will need to he𒀰ad into the town and scan for the signal, which will lead you to the weapon merchant.
At the back of the merchant's store is a vent covering - use the pullcaster to tear it off, and climb through into the plane wreckage. Here, you will find the Black Box for Salt Bite.
Black Box: The Raintrace
East of Thornmarsh will be the next Black Box - near the Salvage Contractor camp in the area. Head to the location ✅on the map above to find the wreck in the marshes.
This Black Box ܫwill require the Vine Cutter to bypass the Metal Flowers. Depending on where you are in the story, you may need to come back later.
Use the Vine Cutter on the Metal Flower to clear the vines. Then, grab the powe🤪r cell lying in the back half of the plane, and use it to open the door in the front half. In here you will find the Black Box for The Raintrac💙e.
Black Box: Bonewhite Tear
This one is going to require some climbing. Up in the mountains northwest of The Bulwark will be the wreckage of a plane - again, scan the area and locate the signal coming from the Bl🌊ack Box.
Make your way up the mountain, and you may notice the Black Box is behind a locked doওor. In the Shelter nearby, you can find the power cell needed by the Stash box. Use it to open the door and grab the Black Box for Bonewhite Tear.
Black Box: Stand Of The Sentinels
For this one, head to the Raintrace Rise settlement (northeast of Thornmarsh). From there, head north to a nearby campfire. Scan for the si🍎gnal here and Aloy can point out the ruins by th🧸e campfire.
Zipline across the gap and climb up to continue in the direction of the signal. You should see the wreckage of the plane, and will need to leap and grapple onto✨ it. Head through and move the crate out of the way blocking the next piece of the wreckage. Once inside, pick up the Black Box for the Stand of the Sentinels.
Black Box: Isle Of Spires
Finally, this Bl𝔉ack Box can be found amongst the ruins of San Francisco. Head to the point on th✃e map above, and you will find the wreckage of the plane along some water.
This one is simple enough to grab - scan for the signal, and you can find the Black Box for the Isle of Spires lying♔ with the debris of the plane.
What Are The Black Boxes For?
If you speak to Unt🐠alla at The Memorial grove, she w🐲ill provide you with a quest to collect the Black Boxes across the map.
You can return these boxes to her for various rewards, and upon returning them all, she will thank you and give you the Wings of the Ten Blastsling - a powerful weapon that can make ꧒a lot of fights much easier.
