Aloy, Varl, Zo, Erend, and just about everyone in Forbidden West go through a lot, making for some incredible moments of memorable quotes that will stick with us for years to come. While it would've been great to include almost every line spoken, these are the ones that made the biggest impact while progressing through the story.

Contains spoilers foܫr the storyline of Horizon Forbidden West.

12 "Twice You Tried To Destroy Life On Earth, And Twice You Failed!" 🔴

Horizon Forbidden West Aloy Talks To HADES

During Aloy's final confrontation with HADES, tensions are extremely high, with Aloy's reactions becoming increasingly more impatient. However, one line that will always stick with us from this moment is when Aloy proves HADES not to be as mighty as he believes to be.

HADES does fire back by saying that he has destroyed life three times but being the reason why he failed ꧂at abolishing all life twice is a pretty good thing. Aloy, at the least, deserves a pat on the ba♌ck.

11 "And I Just Need To Bury It For A While. But Only For A While, Aloy." ✃

Horizon Forbidden West Varl Talks To Aloy

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The topic of Rost comes up numerous times in Forbidden West, but Aloy brushes past it continuing to focus on the mission at hand so as not to let feelings cloud her judgment. If you speak to Varl at the Base and select the Rost conversation topic, he'll say one of the best optional lines in the game.

Comparing his trauma from his sister Vala's death, Varl explains how sometimes you need to bury your feelings for a while, but that doesn't mean you should hide from them forever.

10 ⛦ "First I Rebuild GAIA... Save Life On Earth... Then I Track You Down And End Yours!"

Horizon Forbidden West Aloy Threatens Sylens

Following 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Zero Dawn's ending, the first few hours of Forbidden West have Aloy still incredibly angry at Sylens with his ploy to secretly keep HADES alive. The moment where Aloy threatens Sylens by saying she will track him down and kill him after dealing with the problem at hand shows how she won't back down until the entire job is finished.

The events of Zero Dawn were traumatic for everyone involved, especially for Aloy to have to go back to that time and that headspace with Sylens pulling the same tricks again. So it's understandable why she reacts the way she does.

9 😼 "Keep Flapping Your Mouth. It 🦂Makes A Nice Target!"

Horizon Forbidden West Aloy And Erik

Taking place during Erik's first appearance, Aloy wants nothing more than to escape the facility with the GAIA root kernel. But instead, Erik decides it best to kill Aloy, leading to a fight where just before Aloy says this ever-iconic line, bringing the best of her sarcasm and wit.

Erik does seem to love the sound of his own voice and belittles Aloy constantly throughout the game simply because her way of life isn't as advanced as the Far Zenith. Perhaps that's what makes him such a captivating character.

8 "What Difference Does It Make? You're Too Far Behind."

Horizon Forbidden West Beta Talks To Aloy

Seeing another clone of Elisabet Sobeck after believing Aloy to be the only one is one thing; seeing a clone of Elisabet who doesn't believe in Aloy's chances of saving the world is another. While Beta initially believes Aloy has what it takes, she begins to panic once learning that Aloy doesn't yet have all sub-functions.

We hear bits and pieces of Beta's time with the Far Zeniths but never actually see the scope of acts the Zenith has committed. Beta's frustrations are understandable though it's difficult to see these two characters squabble knowing they've both been through a tough time.

7 "I'll Give You The Death You Didn't Have The Spine To Give Me."

Horizon Forbidden West Regalla Threatens Hekarro

Everything Regalla says is pretty memorable since she remains honorable whenever talking to Aloy, even sparing her at The Embassy because she earned her life in combat. Just before Aloy's appearance during their showdown, Regalla says this line to Chief Hekarro.

No matter how much blindsiding Regalla does with promises of her rebellion being able to defeat the Carja or any Tenakth who stand in her way. Everything has ultimately been about killing Hekarro, no matter the casualties. Revenge has taken over Regalla, and it's unfortunate to see, though it can't excuse all the innocent lives lost.

6 "From Death Follows New 🤪Life. So It Is With The Land... And It Is With Us."

Horizon Forbidden West Zo Talks To Aloy

It'll be a long time until we get over the death of Varl; the team doesn't feel the same with his loss. But it does make way for a beautiful eulogy shared between Zo and Aloy as the two reminisce about the person he was. Zo doesn't blame Aloy for Varl's death and has an inspiring outlook on death, an outlook that all Utaru believe.

Death isn't the end of someone; it simply brings about new life, and with seeds being planted in the deceased's honor, they will continue to live on through the Earth.

5 🐈 "Goodbye, Varl. I Promise To Look After Them."

Horizon Forbidden West Aloy Talking To Varl

Shortly after Zo's speech about renewing life after death, Aloy promises to look after everyone after he's gone. The promise is something between Varl and herself as Aloy doesn't say this line until after Zo has started walking back inside the Base.

Aloy and Varl were connected to each other because of their pasts and the Nora way of life, so it's upsetting to see one now live on without the other. But with Zo's sentiment of Varl living on forever, Aloy finds the courage to carry on fighting and take down the Far Zenith.

4 "I Don't Have A Price. I Am Not A Hired Killer."

Horizon Forbidden West Aloy Talks To Hekarro

Not even the promise of something Aloy needs to continue her journey can sway her away from sticking with her beliefs. Aloy never has and never will be a hired killer. Everything she does and works towards is to continue on Elisabet's legacy in hopes of making the world a better place for everyone.

Aloy eventually agrees to help out Hekarro, but 𒆙only because there is no other choice; she continues to stand by her morals and helps out by convincing a challenger to attend the Kulrut, then going on to defend the Kulrut from the rebels.

3 "It's Not About The Distant Hope Of Creating A New World... It's About Preserving The One We Have."

Horizon Forbidden West Ending Aloy Cutscene

Even after everything that happened through the story and the discovery of an even bigger threat known as Nemesis, Aloy and her friends continue to look out into the beyond with optimism about the future. The Far Zenith believed Earth to be doomed and made home on a different planet, but this isn't the solution to strive towards.
