This fact is made most apparent ☂in the opening sections of Horizon, as Aloy uses her new Focus to plot a safe track between herself, Teb, and a group of Watchers, while many groups of machines that appear around the Embrace when she is an adult are also accompanied by one o𒀰r more Watchers.
As more machine enemies are introduced, it becomes clear that each machine has a different line of sight, meaning you need to approach each enemy from a different position. Some💜 machines are better approached from behind, ℱwhile others from an elevated position if you want to deal critical damage.

Taking on groups of machines can be problematic if you just rush into combat without a plan, as it is very easy to be overwhelmed if you are blindsided by several Snapmaw you didn't realize were hiding in the water (though they are one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the best to override to use on your side). When choosing which weak enemy to take down first, the best option is to remove all Watchers from the equation as quickly as possible.
Aside from having the best line of sight, they are also able to blind Aloy temporarily and can be a real nuisance if they aren't taken care of quickly, as they often alert all other machines around them before blinding her.
7 Don't Rely On Dodging To Avoid Damage
In most games, dodging is a fairly consistent way of avoiding damage altogether that has the downside of leaving your character open to damage if you mess it up. Some games have invincibility frames, such as the Dark Souls series, where you will take no damage during certain frames of dodging, but Horizon doesn't have this and you are more likely to take damage than not against larger enemies.
With this in mind, it is better to set traps with the Tripcaster against enemies with less room for error in their attacks which makes it one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the best weapons. You can also use the Ropecaster to keep a machine in place. The best way to deal with bandit camps is to take it slowly, making sure you haven'ﷺt missed anyone before moving onto the next area as it is very easy to sneak right by one bandit to kill another without even realizing they were there in th𒁏e first place.

4 Learn And Aim For A Machine's Weak Spot
Hitting a machine's weak spots and explosive body parts is a great way to deal the most damage as fast as possible, but it's not Aloy's only trick and often results in you losing out on looting certain materials. B🌜laze Canisters for example, while they deal massive damage when hit with Fire Arrows, also mean you lose out on ♔any Blaze that machine would have dropped.
Most enemies have a secondary weak spot on them, such as the Scrapper's radar or the head of most machines, which should be taken advantage of if you are confident that you can take the machine down regardless of wh𝐆ether or not you deal the most damage.
3 ဣ 🐈 Every Machine Needs A Different Strategy
It should be fairly obvious due to the inclusion of the Focus in battle, but most machines need a different approach when attempting to take them down. Watchers can be easily stealth killed with a Spear attack, but the same can't be🥀 said ꦫfor Thunderjaws, which often requires tearing off their weapons and using them against it.
Likewise, a Strider's Blaze Canister is very easy to hit, but the same Blaze Canister on a Sawtooth is very difficult to hit due to its location and isn't worth aiming for if you don't have any way to get it to roll over. When you discover a machine it will go into your Notebook. Bring up your menu that includes your map, inventory and crafting. At the end of that will be a Notebook containing information. There is a machine section with little bits of important information on the machines you have discovered.
2 🅺 Overriding Machines Is Often Better Than Using Corruption
Late in the game, Aloy gains access to Corruption Arrows, powerful status inflicting arrows that turn machines against one another. While this is a great way to thin large groups of enemies, either machines or bandits, it is also less useful than simply overriding a machine with the Spear, espec✃ially once the appropriate upgrades have been ta🏅ken.
If you can manage to do it, overriding a Thunderjaw can be a great asset when exploring the plains areas, though you will have to contend with the fact that it isn't able to hide nearly as well as a Stalker or Sawtooth. To be able to override machines, you need to complete the Cauldrons across the map. Each Cauldron will teach Aloy how to override specific machine types.
1 Don't Forget About The Spear
The majority of Aloy's weapons are based around dealing damage from a distance, but that doesn't mean 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:her Spear is entirely useless.
