The Towers affect ALL machines, so this does include your beloved mount. You cannot get the Mount back once you have taken down the Tower. Also, if you have the glorious 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Shield Weaver armor then it ♊♒will be de-activated too. However, as annoying as the Towers can be is how helpful they can become. We walk you through everything you need to know.
How To Override A Control Tower In Horizon Zero Dawn
The more difficult option to choose when facing a Control Tower is overriding it with your Spear. This is because they are surrounded by Daemonic machine꧟s and those machines are twice as dangerous as regular ones.
You are vulnerable whilst overriding a Tower so there is a good chance you can be overwh༺elmed and ki🐎lled.
If you do choose this option then you will find the override section at the base of the Towers. They look a lot like the sections you need to override to open bridges in the Cauldrons.
There are three of these sections at the base of the Towers. Run up to them and when prompted, click the appropriate button to override them.
You will need to hold onto the override until it's completed. If a mach𒉰ine knocks you away then the override attempt will be invalid.
Why Take The Risk?
Once the Control Tower is overridden, it will release another pulse of energy but this time it won't heal the machines. This time, the pulse will briefly immobilize them and make them easy targets.
This is particularly useful when you find a Tower surrounded by Bellowback machines or Scorchers.
How To Destroy A Control Tower In Horizon Zero Dawn
If you deci🔥de that overriding them is too risky then you can always destr꧟oy them!
As the Towers lack the ability to move, they are an extremely easy target. The only movemen൲t they do is swiveling slowly on the spot.
They are vulnerable to all types of arrows. However, there is only one part that you can destroy. This is the Cooling Element;
The Cooling Element is situated at the top of the Tower, behind the bit that looks like an evil flower. The piece will disappear just before it releases a pulse of energy and will reappear after the pulse is over.
You need to destroy this to stop the Tower from functioning.
Having the Double or Triple Shot skill unlocked and applied is very useful here.
Once this part of the tower is destroyed, you can focus on taking down the rest of the machines. They are not damaged or weakened by you destroying the Tower.
