Setting Up Defenses: Jason

If Eric is alive, there's an interaction between him and the creature and Salim (if the latter are♈ present) at the start of this scene.

Meanwhile, Nick and Jason are setting up defenses so that they won't be ambushed by t🍷he creatures.

• If They Did Activate The Tripwire During 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:'After The Fall': He thanks him for saving his life.

As they work, Nick and Jason have a chat. This will be a significant place to earn positive or negative points in Jason and Nick's relationship. Jason can generally antagonize Nick by being harsh about Nick's trauma or improve their relationship by expressing his concern for Nick's mental health.

After finishing their conversation, you'll talk to Eric for a moment (if he's still alive). Then you'll get control over Jason in an exploration mode as they journey farther into the temple. Though the characters have no idea, you'll recognize this area as the same one that the characters ran through in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Prologue, Cursed. Take a careful look around here: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Secrets #5, #6, #23, #31, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a Black-Bordered Picture (Tripwire) are found in this area.

When you interact with Secret #5 (the woman staked through the heart), Nick will suggest that you take the metal stake with you. Jason can agree, or say that his rifle will be plenty.

• Compliant: Jason will take the stake with him.
• Dismissive: Nick will take the stake with him.

When you're done looking around, head down the hallway and you'll receive a cutscene where Nick and Jason discuss how to set up the explosives here. You can either choose to hide the charges against the wall so that the creatures won't see them coming, or to place them down the middle where they're very obvious, but you'll get a better explosion.

• Commanding: Place the bombs in the middle of the hallway.
• Cautious: Place the bombs along the side of the hallway.

The consequences of this decision 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:are felt in the scene 'The Horror.'

As the pair set up the charges, Nick begins to talk about the civilian they shot again. He asks if it affected Jason. This conversation is another important opportunity to develop Nick and Jason's relationship, so consider your choices carefully. After their discussion, if he didn't already tell Jason 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:during 'The Raid', Nick admits that he had been dating Rachel for thr🅘ee weeks before Eric showed up. They put up a camera before returning to the camp in the temple.

In The Pit: Rachel

Assumed that Rachel died during her fall earlier? Nope. After fading to black away from Jason and Nick, we're shown Rachel lying in a pile of bones, cov𒈔ered in blood but very much alive. As she recovers from he♕r fall and realizes what happened to her, she hears a splash in the blood she's standing in and realizes she's not alone down here.

Next, you're given control of Rachel to look around the Pit. Keep your eyes peeled because 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Secrets #11, #33, and #48 and are found in this area.

After pushing far enough forward, you'll come to a small opening in the cave ahead. Rachel creates a torch out of a bone and we see a creature watching her from a distance. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Secret #8 is found here once you're given control of Rachel again. There's a neon green light in the inaccessible distance, which Rachel finds bizarre.

You'll head down narrower tunnels for a little while before being pulled into a cutscene. Rachel realizes there is a creature following her and tries to escape. There are two quick-time events to complete, but failing them will have no significant consequences.

Eventually, she runs suddenly into Clarice (the doctor who appeared early in the game but disappeared), who tells her to run. As R🦄achel flees, Clarice takes on the creature and the🔴 screen fades to black.

Dissecting The Creature: Eric

The scene cuts back to the archeological site and 𝓀Eric (if he is still al𝐆ive).

Welcome Back, Joey: Jason

The scene shifts to Jason and Nick who are musing about how to get a signal out of the caves. Their conversation is interrupted when they are attacked by a mysterious figure - after it tumbles with Jason for a moment, we get a clear look and realize that it's Joey. Or, at least, what's left of Joey. He's developed blue skin, devil-like horns, and elongated front teeth (to say nothing of h🐻is manic behavior).

Jason tries to reason with Joey, but there's clearly no humanity left in 𒈔him. Joey attacks Ja🦹son.

Once Jason haᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚs escaped, Joey begins to approach the protagonists.

• If Eric Is Alive And Has Learned The Creatures' Weakness: Eric arrives and burns Joey with the light of his UV wand.
• If Eric Is Dead Or Eric Did Not Learn The Creatures' Weakness: Eric arrives (if alive) and the protagonists shoot Joey until he falls backwards into the chasm.

Underground Bonding: Rachel

When the scene cuts back to Clarice and Rachel, the two are escaping together. Clarice explains where she's been and Rachel comments that she's been incredibly lucky. There are a few dialogue choices to make that will affect Clarice and Rachel's relationship and Rachel's personality.

When Rachel a🐼nd Clarice decide to try to climb out, Clarice has a moment oཧf bewilderment at how "fucked" their situation is. This causes Rachel's Angry trait to increase. As the two begin to climb, we see an undead foot following them.

As they mount the first rock face, Rachel checks in with Clarice to ask if she's okay. Again, these dialogue choices affect their relationship and Rachel's personality. At first, it's a simple conversation,𝓡 either about the creatures or how to distract Clarice from her pain.

However, after talking a little more, Clarice begins to have some kind of spasm. In the following conversation, Rachel can choose to generally be cautious and not promise anything to Clarice, or to generally be sympathetic to Clarice and try to help. What you choose will affect a choice later in this scene.

After a moment, Rachel tells Clarice that there's medicine if they can get her backꦍ to the others and the two push on together.

Reaching The Top Of The Chasm: Rachel

When the two finally reach the top, Rachel throws a grappling rope onto a 𒊎rock face to allow them to swing to the other side of the chasm.

As they're about to jump, Clarice asks Rachel if she really thinks the medicine will help. Rachel can be optimistic or realistic.

The Doctor Stokes Bearing updates with your choice.

Clarice goes on to tell Rachel that she has to kill her, if she turns. Rachel can respond that she's not going to die, or that she will respect her wishes. After replying, Rache🍌l will jump across the chasm. Rachel must complete a quick-time event to perform it correctly.

There's a quick-time event for Rachel to make it over the chasm. Once she reaches the other side, the two women make eye contact and Rachel gets a new choice: to help Dr. Stokes or to abandon her.

To convince Clarice that she can be saved, you shoul♒d generally choose to reassure her and insist you can save her after she has her spasm. It is not clear whether the choices before her spasm will have an effect on whether she will be convinced. It is also unknown exactly how many of the dialogue options you must choose corr💟ectly in order to convince her.

As the scene ends, the 'Doctor Stokes' Bearing updates with the events that just transpired.
