Updated February 19, 2022, by Gabrielle Huston: This guide has been updated with the various possible decisions you can make in this scene and their consequences in-game. Since House of Ashes is a complex game with hundreds of endings, we acknowledge that we will miss details in these walkthroughs. However, we strive to provide you with as much information as possible.

Escaping The Ruins

House of Ashes - Daylight - Eric and Salim

This scene begins as the survivors are reaching the ropes which Jason and Salim climbed down 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:during Enemy of my Enemy.

A protagonist (Eric, if he'😼s alive) will pa🦩use and realize that...

  • If Rachel Died And Was Infected During The Horror: Rachel has climbed up after them. The Infected Bearing updates.
  • If Clarice Wasn't Shot By Jason: Clarice jumps out of a waterfall to attack. The Doctor Stokes Bearing updates.
  • Otherwise: Nothing is happening. The protagonists continue up the ropes.

If the conditions for Rachel and Clarice are both met, then Rachel will appear.

House of Ashes - Daylight - Clarice attacks

If Clarice or Rachel attacks, it's possible for them to kill any of the survivors if you fail the quick-time events.

Note: at least a few of the quick-time events are safe to fail but it's unknown at the time of this writing exactly which ones. If more information becomes available, this guide will be updated.

The survivors escape successfully usiꦅng a grappling🍒 hook and a newly formed crack in a statue.

At long last, the team arrives on the surface in the light of day.

An American soldier radios for help, if one of them has survived, and receives a response. ꧃If you chose🧔 to call for air support during The Raid, help will be 5 minutes away. If you chose not to ask for air support, they'll say their ETA is five hours. The Air Support Bearing will update to reflect your decision.

The Final Assault

House of Ashes - Daylight - creature flying against the sun

Just as your team is finally relaxing, a solar eclipse (which was foreshadowed during The Raid for keen-eyed players) occurs and allows the creatures to emerge from underground. Even if you did request air support at the beginning of the game, they don't arrive before the eclipse.

Your team is forced to ru♒n to a nearby ruined hoღme to find cover from the creatures.

  • If there are 2 or more survivors: As you attempt to barricade the huts' windows and doors, a protagonist will be attacked by a creature through the roof, and you'll need to succeed a quick-time event to save them. If the quick-time event is failed, the protagonist will be pulled into the air and thrown to the ground, dead. Who this character is is determined by who has survived to this point.

After holding them off for a while with your limited ammo, one of the survivors finds boxes full of flares. With no other options, they are forced to ligꦇht the flares and hold off their attackers with them.

Failing these quick-time events can lead to death for one or more of the protagonists. Each of the surviving protagonists will face off against a monster in the following order (skipping whoever is not alꦰive).

  • If The Ancient One Is Alive: The Ancient One will also attack one protagonist (chosen by an unknown order of priority at the time of this writing). Failing the quick-time events when The Ancient One attacks will mean that the protagonist dies.

Final Protagonist

House of Ashes - Daylight - Eric

One protagonist will go twice, with the same order as the previous priority. If Rachel is alive, she will go twice. If Rachel is dead, Eric will go twice. If Rac♎hel and Eric are dead, Nick will go twice. And so forth.

This final protagonist takes their second turn at the very end. Whatever they do during this turn, even if they fail all quick-time events given to them, they will not die on their second turn. The sun will arise and save them. Therefore, if you're trying to earn 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the꧂ Six Minutes Of Midnight achievement, make sure they d🍬ie the first time that you get control of them.

Rescue

House of Ashes - Daylight - Eric lying on the ground

Once the eclipse ends, your survivors are really and truly finished fighting.

House of Ashes - Daylight - Salim walking away

Salim has two possible fates if he is alive after the eclipse is over.

  • If you didn't ask for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:air support during The Raid, Salim walks into the proverbial sunset to return home to his son. As he walks away, the Air Support Bearing is updated (the Bearing screen should change but we ran into a glitch where it didn't).
  • If you did ask for air support, Salim doesn't have time to leave before the support arrives to rescue you and he is taken as a prisoner of war.
House of Ashes - Daylight - helicopter

The American survivors (pﷺotentially joined by Salim) board the helicopter and fly into the distance.
