House of Ashes, the next installment of the Dark Pictures trilogy, premiered a new trailer as part of Gamescom's Opening Night Live Pre-Show event. The trailer confirmed the game would launch on October 22 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and PC.

The trailer showed a group soldiers underground in a warzone, with a sinister monster lurking in the shadows. However, the real monster might be... dun dun dun... the humans, since the soldiers start to turn on each other. Tempers are high, and with a bunch of well armed soldiers, everything feels so much more tense. It's an old story, the humans being the real monster, but it never really gets old.
