Entering The Star Chamber: Rachel (Jason If Rachel Is Dead)

Once Jason and Salim are rescued, all the team members crawl through a small space and enter a large open chamber with some kind of monument in the centre. Your team will count up how much ammunition and explosives they have left. The amount of ammunition they have depends on whet൲her or not Eric allowed W.P. to be brought on the mission and how many of the protagonists are 🦄still alive (and can 🐽add their gear to the pile).

It's unclear whether the amount of ammunition you have is important to future decisions.

They decide to blow up the Vault in order to cause a distraction.

Operating The Musical Device: Rachel (Jason If Rachel Is Dead)

When you talk to Salim the second time, he tells you about the purpose of the device in the centre of the chamber. It was musical, indicating that the creatures (before they became vampires) spoke through sonics and chords.

🍸The team works together to operate the device which prompts it to sing using t🦹he tubes around the room.

Optional: Infected Rachel's Fate

This part only takes place if...

• Rachel is still alive at this point
• Rachel 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:was infected during The Horror scene

Note that, if Rachel dies, the scene ends.

The music seems to upset Rachel and she wanders away from the group. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:If Jason brought W.P. on the mission, she grabs it.

She falls to her knees and has a vision of a huge spaceship crashing on Earth. The 'Infected' Bearing is updated to reflect these events.

Confronting Jason

If Rachel doesn't die in the previous scene, she'll fall to the ground and the survivors will rush to her side. The first thing to deal with is J⛎ason. He wants to kill Rachel since she's infectꦰed.

Rachel gets two dialogue choices to try and talk to him. She can beg him to do it or not to do it. While it's n🐼ot clear how choosing a mix of dialogue choices would t♌urn out...

• If You Choose Both Options Asking Jason To Shoot: Jason kills Rachel.
• If You Choose Both Options Asking Jason Not To Shoot: Jason gives in and doesn't kill Rachel.

The Cocoon

As the survivors attempt to figure out what to do with Rachelꦿ, one of two things can happen.

1. They don't know what to do. Rachel dies from her infection and Salim stabs her. (Note: it is unclear whether, if Salim had not interacted with the corpse but Eric and Salim did know about the creature's weakness, Rachel might still be saved.)
2. Salim can have an epiphany. This relies on him and Jason having interacted with the corpse covered in fluid during 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The City scene. Salim will suggest that they might be able to keep Rachel alive by putting her in a cocoon and delaying her transformation.

If Salim suggests they put Rachel in a c🌠ocoon, she can either resist the idea or agree to it.

• If Rachel Resists The Cocoon: Jason threatens her again. Rachel can disarm him. If she does, she dies of her infection of-screen. If she doesn't, she is shot by Jason and stabbed by Salim.
• If Rachel Agrees To Be Put In A Cocoon: The survivors drag her out of the star chamber.

Leaving The Star Chamber

The next section is dependent on Eric's fate.

• If Eric is dead, or is alive but 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:do🐓es not know the creatures' weaknes𓆏s (light): Jason will drag Rachel to a cocoon and has two-quick-time events to do it. If you succeed at one or both quick-time events, you successfully put Rachel in a cocoon. If you fail at both quick-time events, they take too long and Rachel dies from her infection.
• If Eric is alive and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:knows the creatures' weakness (light): When Rachel begins to have another spasm outside the chamber, Eric suggests that he use the UV wand on her.

Purging Rachel

When Eric uses the UV wand on Rachel, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Parasite that had infected her escapes through her mouth and crawls away. A brief scene ensues where Rachel hunts down the Parasite. When she finds it, you'll get a 💧quick-time event to crush it under your boot.

• If You Succeed The Quick-Time Event: You crush the Parasite under your boot. You can pick it up and examine it to unlock 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Secret #38: Alien Parasite.
• If You Fail The Quick-Time Event: The Parasite escapes.

Eith🤡er way, the scene concludes with Rachel alive and well.
