The Flashback
After your conversation with the Curator, you'll be treated with one of two flashbacks.
- If Eric Is Alive: the flashback is from 3 weeks ago and details how Nick and Rachel started dating.
- If Eric Is Dead: the flashback is from 3 years ago and shows how Eric lost his leg on their honeymoon.
The Gang's Back Together Again: Eric (Nick If Eric Is Dead)
This scene opens as the other surไvivor(s) of the assault (Nick, as well as Rachel and Eric if they are still alive) awaken throughout the rﷺuins and reunite if possible.

The moment doesn't last long. The Ancient One, still ali💮ve after🧔 the assault, emerges from underground and begins to chase the team.
- If Rachel was killed and infected during The Horror (not just infected): she has become a Creature and will also chase the survivor(s).
- If Eric And Rachel Are Dead (Regardless Of Whether Rachel Is Infected): Nick gets away from the Ancient One (and Rachel, potentially) without a problem. There are no quick-time events or decisions.
Having A Mature Chat: Eric (Nick If Eric Is Dead)

Once the survivors flee, they find Jason's mark in the ground and decide to follow him. There will be a brief conversati🍎on here between whoever has survived.
- Eric, Nick, And Rachel: Eric and Nick will demand that Rachel chose one of them. Depending on the player's past choices and the characters' relationships with Rachel, she can choose Eric, Nick, or neither of them. If she chooses one of them, the other's reaction to it will be determined based on their personality to this point. You can leave this conversation with Rachel's suitors being angry at her/each other, unhappy but accepting at her/each other, or some combination thereof.
- Eric And Nick: Eric and Nick will have a conversation that suits the way that they left the previous room, but, regardless of that, you can choose to be antagonistic or understanding with Nick about Rachel's death. This affects their relationship going forward.
- Eric And Rachel: This conversation will be different based on whether, if both Nick and Eric had survived, Rachel would have chosen Eric or Nick or neither. Keep in mind while choosing dialogue options that this is a key moment to build Eric and Rachel's relationship to be better or worse.
