Life is Strange: True Colors takes place across five chapters in a small town. Despite the location remaining the same, each chapter has plenty to explore and engaging moments. If you speed through the story itself, you would likely be done in about eight hours.

However, Life is Strange is about exploration, interaction, and piecing together the little things. If you take the time to wander around each chapter and interact with everything you can find, then you’ll be closer to a ten hour playthrough, depending on your leisure.

Getting every collectible in Life is Strange: True Colors doesn’t take much longer than a leisurely playthrough. The collectibles are memories, that appear as objects around the environment. If you take the time to explore, then you could easily fit this into your ten hour playtime.

If you missed a few memories here and there, then you don’t need to worry about having to do a full playthrough once again. From the start menu, if you select “Chapters”, then you can jump into any scene from any chapter just to grab those last few memories - the game will even tell you which scene has memories, and how many you’re missing.
