Going off of our own personal experiences with Marvel's Spider-Man 2, our best estimate is that the main story will last players between 20 and 25 hours. This is fairly common among the big-budget blockbuster Sony catalog, as it's plenty to chew on with lots of twists and turns, but it's focused enough to keep from lasting into the dozens of hours. In other words, a Final Fantasy's main story will last you longer, but you might get more mileage out of every minute of Spider-Man 2.
If you're taking your time with the main story, tapping into various app quests and larger-scale side content, maybe snapping pics at the various photo ops, finding Spider-Bots, that stuff - let's put it at about 30 hours.
100 Percent Completion
There's enough optional fare to chew on in Spider-Man 2 to last you notably longer, with a 100 percent completion file nabbing you the game's platinum somewhere in the vicinity of 35 hours. 40 or so if you're really taking your sweet time. But then, who could blame you, when the developers have crafted such a gorgeous rendition of the ☂Big Apple?
