Maleficent is well known for transforming into a massive dragon that Prince Phillip must vanquish, and while he pierces her heart with his sword, that's not what really kills her. Combined with the mortal wound, Maleficent's dragon form 🎐collapses and breaks the overhand she fought👍 on.

This sends her spiraling downward, sliding along the cliffside with a sword lodged in her chest. While Phillip manages to scramble to safety, the Mistress of All Evil is not so lucky. She lands on her ♚back amidst the thorns of her own creation, leaving nothing but her🍰 ruined cloak behind.

Bear

Fox And The Hound (1981)

The bear is a minor Disney Villain that can be easily forgotten, especially since the formidable creature only made its appearance at the end of the film (and Amos Slade is considered the true antagonist). However, in The Fox and the Hound, the bear attacks not just Tod, but Copper and A꧃mos as well.

After a brutal aꦰnd tu🌌multuous fight, the bear chases Tod out onto a log hanging over a waterfall. The log gives way under the bear's weight, and they are both sent plunging into the depths. Tod is later shown to have survived the encounter, though just barely, but the bear is not to be seen again.

Ratigan

The Great Mouse Detective (1986)

The climactic battle in Big Ben leaves Basil and Ratigan at odds, confronting each other in a rainstorm. While Ratigan initially has the up🍸per hand, the tables turn quickly when the clock strikes the hour. The vibrations are too strong for Ratigan, and he takes a tumble.

🐈He falls from the clock face down through the clouds, lost to the streets of London below. While he grabs Basil, on the way down, Ratigan perishes as Basil manages to hold onto a propeller and save himself.

Percival C. McLeach

The Rescuers Down Under (1990)

After kidnapping a child and poaching endangered creatures, Perci♉val McLeach proves himself to be d🀅espicable. Though initially surrounded by gators after being knocked into the water, they quickly leave him to his fate.

The fiendish poacher meets his end at the hands of the elements, riding a powerful current to the edge of a waterfall and plummeting down out of sight. Itﷺ's a long fall, and even with water wa🌺iting at the bottom, chances of survival are slim.

Gaston

Beauty And The Beast (1991)

Gaston, for all his swagger, 🐓meets an untimely end after attacking the Beast in the Beast's castle. A climactic battle on the roof leads to Gaston stabbing the Beast in the side, only to be shaken off and fall from the roof.

Belle saves the Beast by pulling him in🌞, but Gaston receives no such help. Instead, he sai💮ls past the parapets and down into the river below. As an added detail, you can catch a glimpse of skulls in his eyes as he falls – in case you weren't sure if he survived the drop.

Oogie Boogie

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

During the final battle, Jack ♓pulls a thread from Oogie Boogie, which causes his burlap sack to fall apart and reveal ꦓall the little bugs that make up this iconic villain.

While revealing the bugs is enough to consider Ooogie Boogie a goner, almost all of his bugs begin to fal𝔉l apart and drop into the boiling pit below him. A single bug manag🍸es to get away, only to be crushed by Sandy Claws. Sure Oogie Boogie fell to pieces, but ultimately he fell to his death.

Scar

The Lion King (1994)

Scar's death is a bit tricky. Technically, he does fall to his death – as without the fall from Pride Rock, he would have been strong enough to get away on his own. That, and his odds would have been much better if he didn't turn his back on the hungr🐈y hyenas.

After battling his nephew at Pride🐓 Rock, Scar lunges at Simba through the fire. Simba kicks him off and sends Scar tumbling down the side of Pride Rock. The fall itself weakens Scar, leaving him vulnerable to the hyenas that devour him. Therefore, Scar fell to his death and faced a brutal end.

Judge Claude Frollo

The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1996)

Wiꦰthout a doubt, Frollo fell to his death – and it was🍌 memorable. As he recites scripture while raising a sword above Esmeralda's head, the gargoyle he stands on gives way. He clutches it, watching in horror as its grotesque face shifts to sneer at him.

The gargoyle breaks off and se✃nds Frollo into the fire surrounding Notre Dame. It's a suitable end for a man who continued to weaponize his beliefs to persecute others, and it's ironic that out o🎃f everyone in the cast, he's the one burned by hellfire.

Zira

The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride

In the sequel to The Lion King, the end of the movie is reminiscent of the original in how Kiara and Zira resemble Mufasa and Scar. This time, however, Kiara is the one with the high ground and tries to reach out to save Zira🌠.

Call it pride or spite, but Zira refuses help and throws herself into the raging waters below. As she disappears into the gorge, she wears a wicked grin as if knowing that her death w💃ill haunt Kiara.
