One of the most famous ladies of the Final Fantasy series has seen a resurgence of popularity, thanks to the Final Fantasy VII Remake. The new version of Aerith has led to fans all over the world falling in love with the character again, and it's possible to create a version of her in .

On the surface, Aerith is just another resident of the slums of Midgar. Cloud first encounters her selling flowers on the streets. It starts to become apparent that there is more to Aerith when Cloud crashes through the roof of her church and finds flowers growing there. Cloud discovers that Aerith is the last member of an ancient race known as the Cetra, who have a close connection to the life force of the planet. In Final Fantasy VII, this gives Aerith access to some of the best buffing/healing Limit Breaks in the game, and she can even call upon a host of angels to aid the party. In terms of personality, the version of Aerith from Final Fantasy VII Remake is more emotional and proactive than the original Aeris from Final Fantasy VII, which was uဣndoubtedly helped by the fact that she now has a voice actor. The new Aerith is seemingly aware of more than she lets on about the future, so she is more determined to live in the moment and enjoy life as it's happening.

Aerith's Ability Scores, Class, And Background

The version of Aerith we have created uses material from the Player's Handbook. In mechanical terms, Aerith is a half-elf, though she resembles a human. We almost went with aasimar for her race, but some of their abilities were a bit too ostentatious for the character we're trying to replicate. Therefore, Aerith is a half-elf cleric who takes on the Nature Domain at level one. Using the basic stat spread listed on page 13 of the Player's Handbook and taking her race into consideration, Aerith's st📖arting stats would be STR 8, DEX 15, CON 12, INT 10, WIS 16, CHA 15.

Aerith's Background would be Urchin, considering her upbringing and numerous encounters with the Shinra Corporation and other rogue groups (like the original version of Avalanche) seen in games like Before Crisis. Her starting skills would be History, Insight, Medicine, Religion, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth. If the variant Feat rules are used, then Aerith would benefit from Healer, 🌳Observant, Spell Sniper, or War Caster.

In terms🍒 of alignment, Aerith easily falls into the Neutral Good category. Unlike the members of Avalanche, she didn't take part in the reactor bombing missions that took so many lives and it's unlikely that she would 🌺have agreed with them taking place, keeping her out of Chaotic Good. Her encounters with the Shinra Corporation (who are essentially the ruling body of the world) have also made her wary of authority, so she wouldn't fall into Lawful Good either.

Aerith's Spells

Like the rest of the Final Fantasy VII cast, Aerith has the ability to cast any spell in the game, thanks to the Materia system. The version of Aerith we have created uses a mixture of healing, buffing, and debuffing spells (as reflected by her Limit Breaks), as well as divination and summoning spells. As such, Aerith's spell list would benefit from guidance, mending, resistance, spare the dying, bless, create or destroy water, cure wounds, detect poison and disease, healing word, protection from evil and good, sanctuary, shield of faith, aid, augury, calm emotions, enhance ability, lesser restoration, prayer of healing, protection from poison, silence, beacon of hope, create food and water, clairvoyance, dispel magic, mass healing word, protection from energy, revivify, speak with dead, spirit guardians, banishment, control water, divination, freedom of movement, guardian of faith, commune, dispel evil and good, greater restoration, mass cure wounds, raise dead, scrying, find the path, heal, heroes’ feast, planar ally, conjure celestial, divine word, regenerate, resurrection, antimagic field, holy aura, gate, mass heal, and true resurrection.

Dealing With THAT Scene

Aerith is an easy character to play in many respects. Her buff/healing-focused playstyle is a natural fit for a D&D cleric, while her personality fits right in with the adventurer mold. The trickiest aspect of Aerith to fit into a D&D game revolves around her bloodline and infamous fate. Aerith is meant to be the last member of her race (or rather, the last person with Cetra blood, as her father is a human), and this might be tricky to work in a campaign world outside of Dark Sun. Aerith's death at the hands of Sephiroth is also hard to pull off, considering the abundance of spells that could bring her back from the afterlife. The famous "168澳𓃲洲幸运5开奖网:Why didn't they use a Phoenix Down on Aerith?" question from twenty years ago actually holds weight in a D&D campaign. As such, it might be best to abandon those concepts from Final Fantasy VII altogether when creating an Aerith-type character and just try to make someone who is mechanically and personally the same, without trying to drag in aspects of the lore of a video game into a D&D campaign.
